This thing came in 400 pieces 🤣 and it took me 3 hours to put together but...the instructions were pretty good. I felt like I really accomplished something when I was done. I didn't cut the wood or forge the parts from metal but they sure make you do every other thing to build it 🤣 it seems pretty sturdy and it suits my purpose just fine. I do wish the drawers pulled all the way out but they only pull out about 3/4 of the way and you have to reach in...but...small potatoes. ... show more

This drawer cabinet is good value compared to similar furniture items I’ve seen that cost more! It’s very sturdy and sleek-looking. I didn’t install the wheels because I needed it to be shorter, but the wheels are not needed, and it’s still easy to move around. I haven’t fully decided on the final setup yet, but it’s going to look great wherever I place it! For the assembly, I found a super helpful YouTube video that walks through the process step by step. I highly recommend watching it all the way through before starting—it makes the setup much easier and avoids the frustration of figuring out the manual. We purchased 4 of these drawer units to use as the base for 2 desks and couldn't be happier with the end result. They arrived very well packed with no damage. The assembly does take quite a bit of time since every piece is broken down. I spent about 1.5 hrs assembling each one and I'm fairly experienced doing these type of projects. The most time consuming part of the assembly is the drawers themselves since they are completely broken down. The directions could be much better and you really need to look at the pictures or you could put the drawer guides on wrong. If you really look at it it will make sense and go together correctly. There is one mistake in the directions. It says that the drawer glides on one side of the box is at 19mm and the other side of the box says to put them at 16mm which is impossible to do since the holes won't line up at 16mm. The end result is a nice sturdy box that looks great and suits the purpose we bought them for. They might be a bit daunting to some who have no experience assembling this type of thing. Nice, solid and was pretty straight forward in terms of assembly. The wheels are smooth as it slides and the drawers have a smooth gliding motion when opened and closed. It was easy to assemble but did take a bit of time to do by myself. Functionality is great it has plenty of storage with nicely sized drawers. It was packed well no damage or marks on any sides. It’s perfect for office storage and can even hold my printer on top of it. I’d say it’s a good buy at a good price and I shopped around comparing several of these. Would highly recommend and would give 10 stars if I could. ... show more

These are an awesome alternative to the Alex drawers. I don't have IKEA where I live and their shipping it insanity. So, I went on a mission to find some drawers to put under my custom built computer desk. I weighed several options and sided with these drawers from Winsome Halifax. Putting them together took some time, but the instructions were clear and I had no issue at all. These drawers look great and are nice and sturdy. The drawer slides function well. They don't pull out super far, but they serve their purpose well for my needs. I built a simple frame and painted it black to replace the caster wheels at the bottom to give them a more substantial presence and so that they were the perfect height to tuck under the lip of my desk. I just put this together and it took 3.5 hours but im happy with the end results. The 1 star reviews you see mostly talk about how difficult it was to put together and the instructions are useless. However, for me, i dont think assembling it was hard, and the instructions were not that confusing. Beware that the instructions have no written instructions, but pictures, it was not too hard to understand though. About the instructions: it is pictures, and for some reason its not accurate to the actual product, like there was a step where it showed you screw into the first hole but it was actually the second hole that needed a screw just because i noticed it didnt align. So please take your time with the instructions. Also in the pictures, some parts have holes on them and youll look at the actual product and it doesnt have the same holes as shown. ALSO, I thought they sent me this without instructions, i found out from another review the instructions was stuffed in one of the cardboard boxes with the screws. I also saw a review say there was fiberglass all over the wood, I checked multiple times and did not see any fiberglass. I also saw someone say the styrofoam goes everywhere, and it really didn’t for me. Assembly: It was a pain screwing in some things because im not sure why but it would not go in fully and SO hard to screw, i was stuck. THANKFULLY, I got my hands on an electric screwdriver, it was a gamechanger and saved me so much time. There was 1 missing screw, however it was not an issue for me because I found a random screw in my garage to use instead. Still inconvenient for a lot of people though. Another thing, a lot of the holes pre drilled are NOT perfectly aligned with the objects you need to screw in. With this said, the instructions had me measure to make sure the drawers were even, which i found stupid. It said to measure 16mm from the edge, although I tried my best, my drawers are not the most even but it does not bother me. However, in my opinion it shouldnt be my job to do that, just have the holes in the right place?? I found this product stable, and its super heavy. A lot of people mentioned how its wobbly, and for me its ever so slightly wobbly, like barely. Im not going to be shaking it around so its not an issue at all, because overall it is stable enough for me. Quality: The quality is not the worst, but nobody comes to amazon for quality so dont expect it. When i was screwing things in, the white layer was chipping off so easily but its not a big deal since its all hidden now. It functions normally, I wouldnt say my drawers come out super smooth but its smooth enough. Theres also no smell and everything was packaged nicely with a lot of styrofoam layers for security. If youre worried about putting it together because of all the reviews, im a 16 yr old girl and did it myself just fine. Overall, 3 stars, im glad i never have to put one together ever again.
