These are an awesome alternative to the Alex drawers. I don't have IKEA where I live and their shipping it insanity. So, I went on a mission to find some drawers to put under my custom built computer desk. I weighed several options and sided with these drawers from Winsome Halifax. Putting them together took some time, but the instructions were clear and I had no issue at all. These drawers look great and are nice and sturdy. The drawer slides function well. They don't pull out super far, but they serve their purpose well for my needs. I built a simple frame and painted it black to replace the caster wheels at the bottom to give them a more substantial presence and so that they were the perfect height to tuck under the lip of my desk. They look and function great. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice, solid and was pretty straight forward in terms of assembly. The wheels are smooth as it slides and the drawers have a smooth gliding motion when opened and closed. It was easy to assemble but did take a bit of time to do by myself. Functionality is great it has plenty of storage with nicely sized drawers. It was packed well no damage or marks on any sides. It’s perfect for office storage and can even hold my printer on top of it. I’d say it’s a good buy at a good price and I shopped around comparing several of these. Would highly recommend and would give 10 stars if I could.

Review with this title included very helpful tips for assembly! Overall, good for price (this review includes written tips for assembly) So, I want to preface my review by saying that (by no fault of the manufacturer,) my storage drawers are damaged. The delivery driver delivered it to the wrong house and it was left outside in the rain, box, shipping label ruined and parts of the product as well. Because I couldn’t return it without the label and what-not, I was issued a refund, but decided to put it together anyway because- well, I didn’t know what else to do with it If I couldn’t return. Anyway, because I basically got a free functioning product and I feel bad about it, I will do you a service by offering some assembly tips for you :) Instructions are pictures only, and that would be okay if they were a little more detailed, maybe closer up and labeled better. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the orientation of some of the smaller bits and pieces on this piece of furniture. Also, for some reason I was given one screw that was not the same length as all the others (pictured)? I used it anyway because it was the same diameter and it wasn’t a structural screw, just one for the drawer hardware, so I figured it’s not a huge deal. It took me (21 y/o female) about 3 hours to put together, and my hands were very sore from all the screwing afterwards (I recommend using an electric screwdriver or a drill on very low speed and torque, as particle board tends to split with too much force). I’m going to go through the steps of the instructions and add some much-needed detail for you now. 1) step one was pretty straight-foward; attach all of the m and n pieces to pieces b and c (respectively). One tip here is to make sure you have m and n on the correct sides, as none are labeled. What you want is for the end of the bar with the wheel to be in the front of the side, and with the wheel in the lower position. 2) this step is where it got a bit tricky for the pictures. There are about 3-4 things to do in this step and it was a bit unclear what should be done first. I recommend first attaching the V (lg cam lock screws) and Q2 (large dowels) To piece A first, then placing the large cam locks into the sides. Then, slide piece A into the top, lock the cam locks, and slide the back piece in afterwards. The instructions show the back piece sliding from the top, but I found it much easier to slide it in from the bottom after the top was secure. 3) the easiest step, first attach the remaining large dowels to piece D, push it into the side pieces and screw the long screws through the bottom. 4) very straight-foward, attaching the casters. One thing that was a bit frustrating here was that the holes for the screws weren’t drilled in even a quarter of the length of the screw, so it took a bit of force to get the screw to bite and start to go into the wood. This was the only part of this product where the holes were done like this. 5) the most tedious step, and also has many moving parts. The order I recommend doing it in; put together the sides and back of all the drawers with the labeled pieces, then slide in the bottoms of all the drawers. Attach the small dowels and cam screws to the drawer fronts, then add the cam locks, push the drawer fronts on and lock the cams. I tried a few other orders, for other drawers, but this was definitely the most efficient. I found at this step that some of the pre-drilled holes weren’t exactly lining up properly for the bottom of the drawer to go in, so I recommend not screwing the side pieces completely tight until you have the bottom completely pushed in, then tightening it around the bottom piece. I also noticed that there were some discrepancies in the pictures provided for this step, the pieces don’t look exactly like what is given. For this, you want your sides to be oriented where the slot for the bottom is on the bottom, the two holes are in the back and the hole for the cam lock is in the front top. Attaching the drawer wheels was very simple and straight-forward. I hope this was helpful to anyone that was slightly confused by the picture-only instructions :) Verified Purchase Good for nail polish storage ...polish. Fits all brands of gel polish that I own. This dresser got the job done. Perfect for a desk space or any space really. I received all parts in perfect condition, the box it came in was solid and extra padding. Basically if you live far from an Ikea and they can't ship to you, this is a perfect second option and less cheaper, quality is a bit lacking BUT its not bad. However, the instructions that came with this was a bit questionable, was staring at it for a solid 5 minutes before it clicked but maybe it's because I'm stupid. It did take me 2 hours to build the whole damn thing. When assembling the dresser some parts while assembling were uneven and a bit wobbly but it all came together in the end. I used an electric drill and I don't know if its me or what but when drilling some parts of the screws it ripped part of the wood and paint where that screw was. I didn't care about it but whoever does this might bother you. Pros - Dupe for ALEX dresser - Cheaper - Pretty sturdy Cons - Instructions a bit unclear - Assembling some parts weren't perfectly aligned Im not going to add any pictures but trust my words.

Very sturdy, although took a while to put together. They function well; the slide on the drawers is smooth and the wheels roll easily too. The wheels come with locks to keep them stationary once you place them. I purchased 2 and placed them on either side of my desk in my office to extend my working space and give me more storage for my work files. Highly recommend! They are beautiful and functional!

There were numerous reviews complaining about the poor instructions. They were correct the instructions were basically just pictures of the parts with no guidance whatsoever on how to assemble the cabinet. But with this particular one there were even more problems. The holes for assembling the drawers were misaligned resulting in a drawer that was crooked. On top of that there were missing dowel pegs that made it impossible to complete assembling the drawers. as if that wasn't enough, the drawer slides were a joke. The package contained slides for the left side only there were no slides for the right side of the drawers. Ultimately the entire assembly went to the landfill. It was an absolute waste of money and under no circumstances would I recommend purchase of this item.
