I got mine with wheels to simplify moving them if necessary and 2 of the wheels lock to prevent inadvertent rolling on sloped floors. The original order was returned enroute by the shipper as undeliverable. When I reached out to the shipper through the contact seller page it was handled promptly. The seller promptly refunded my total purchase price and I reordered. The shelves were promptly shipped. These shelves are quality. Not the budget model but not budget quality. You get what you pay for. What sets them apart from others is the support bar that runs under the center of the shelves. It did take away about one inch of shelf space for me in stacking boxed items so keep that in mind when assembling your shelf heights. I just rearranged my storage combinations. My son put these together and they were a bit more strenuous to readjust for height, I think because the shelves fit so well on the plastic spacers. I bought the black shelves because I was using them in my living room and they were quite a lot more unobtrusive then the chrome. I highly recommend these very sturdy shelves from the seller who refunded and shipped the replacement quickly. Would buy these shelves again for this seller. ... show more

The shelf was easy to assemble. The instructions say that it takes two people, but I was able to do it by myself and I am 71 years old. I did use the stepladder to get the top shelves on. You can make one 6 foot shelf or two 3 foot shelves, but there are only enough wheels for one shelf, if you go with two shelves at least one of them will not roll. Two of the wheels come with lock so you can push it against the wall, lock the front two wheels and it’s very sturdy. ... show more
