This portable AC is great and does a fantastic job at cooling a room. My room went from 75F to 66F within an hour. The app is also great and easy to use. However, the AC is not quiet as I thought it would be but it’s not very loud either; I don’t keep it running while I’m sleeping. Despite this, I still highly recommend this product

Just installed this today in my bedroom, but really happy with the cooling so far. I have a tall window so getting the gaps sealed around the panels was a little tricky. Once that was done, the rest took 5 minutes. I would suggest a wood dowel cut a hair longer than the space to put pressure against the panel and seal it tight. See my pics. This was a lot more economical than installing a mini-split (quoted at $8k). Central AC doesn't quite do the job during the hot AZ summers.

Need a compact portable unit for a nursery that gets pretty hot during the summer. The good: unit is well packaged including rigid Styrofoam and packing straps (note the outer box just lifts straight up leaving the outer box base/Styrofoam base/AC unit sitting on the floor), AC unit seems well made with very good fit/finish, AC remote is very solid (heavier than expected), unit comes with everything needed to install in window (18"-53" per manual), louver oscillation is nice, unit works out of the box with minimal setup, touch sensitive buttons on face work well, sleep mode will turn off display at night which will be important for baby. The neutral: remote battery cover was hard to get off (had to use a rubber glove to get enough friction - remote finish (off white and a little slippery) is nice enough that you don't want to mar it. In addition, magnetic area on AC unit to hold the remote in place is not super strong, so be aware if you're moving the AC unit over bumps. The not-so-good: unit's 45db rating is what was attractive for the nursery, seems louder than expected even when at the lowest fan setting without the compressor running. We have an LG unit (admittedly much more expensive) that is noticeably quieter at the low setting. It'll be white noise for the baby when running so it shouldn't matter for us. Note that the dehumidifier hasn't been used yet so cannot comment. Other than being louder than expected, it seems like a very nice unit and happy to have it.

This is a well built unit that works well for keeping the bedroom cool overnight. Set the timer to start an hour before bed, and stop an hour before wake up time. Very pleased.

Works great in a 100sqft room that's south-facing. Note that while definitely quieter than other portable air conditioners I've owned, their marketing is a bit misleading. At full fan + cooling enabled + swing enabled (turning everything on), it sits around ~56db in my office. For comparison my previous unit sat at about ~70db at full tilt.

Every house I've ever lived in has had one room that for reasons of exterior exposure or weird ducting, is hotter than every other room in the house. That's where this unit saves the day (or the night, and your sleep). Taking it out of the packaging, it was very apparent that care was taken that it would arrive unscathed. I was a little worried about wrangling the unit into place, as I am not the strongest person, but the two handles and wheeled casters made it a very easy job. The cord is of a good length to give you some flexibility in where you place it in the room relative to what outlet might be available. We've just had our first run of 100+ days here in the desert, and this little air conditioner was EXACTLY what was needed once the house walls had heated up and the main A/C was predictably falling a little short in this one south-facing room. Setting it up and getting the vent panel in place is pretty much the same as other units I've used; what was new to me was the app, which I managed to connect with no trouble. I did not have the opportunity to pair it with a device such as Alexa, although it has that capacity; so in total it can be controlled by the touch panel, the remote, the app or a voice-activated device. The remote for the unit even sits in its own little spot held in place by a magnet. It pushes a surprising amount of cold air for the volume of sound it makes -- people buy white noise machines just to make that kind of masking noise, and here you have this unit providing that as a bonus lol. The room cooled to very acceptable levels in just over an hour, which is pretty quick for a small unit. Dehumidifying is something I can't really comment on, as this desert climate doesn't have enough humidity to be a problem -- yet. If it doesn't make it through the August monsoon season, I'll revisit and give an updated evaluation. At its price point, this is a great solution when you need a bit of help in a troublesomely warm room, but don't have enough of an issue to go the route of a mini-split. And it's great insurance for those times when we've had our central A/C needing service in the middle of the summer, we'll have the ability to have a room cool for pets and people while the main unit is off for repairs.
