Usually, I don't write reviews but for this A.C. I'm going to. I bought it back in April 2025 the UPS guy brought it upstairs for me! After unboxing in April I tried to power it up to see if it at least worked. It did! I was planning to set up in mid May but it's the 7th of May close enough. Make sure you let it set upright for 6-12 hours before use it'll tell you on the instructions. Set up is real easy and it's not hard to install at all. I'm not a handy dandy person so no tools needed. You have all the foamy stuff you need and the hose just slides in on the back and pop and clicks in the window hole thingy. When you plug it in press the top button on the plug and presto! I've been running it for an hour now and it works fine. The cooling ability takes a few minutes to kick in so be patient. It makes my room apartment feel comfortable. It's not very heavy and the size it's perfect for any room because it doesn't take up much space. It's also on wheels so you can move it easily! I love the remote control and batteries come with it which was great because I didn't have any batteries. It also has an app you could use but I don't need to use that since I live in a small apartment I can just turn it on from the ac or if I'm lazy I can use the remote. Don't delay order one for yourself now!

QUIET!! After an extensive rabbit hole search for the best bang for our modest pensions. We settled on this unit. Settling on this $500 unit as an investment for years to come. After our apartment complex management no longer allowed window units but require portable units that have a zero clearance on the outside of the exterior windows. We ordered this months before it was actually needed. May 1st was our first 80+ day. So here are the facts. Arrived promptly. Packaged 10 out of 10. Easy to unpack. Directions are clear and easy to follow. Took maybe 20 minutes to set up. Remote is really easy to use and senior friendly. Display on unit is easy to see and understand. The space is staying a very comfortable 75° by choice. This Unit is cooling, Aprox... 400sq ft. area. Living, Dining, kitchen, entry combined open floorplan. Long wide hallway that leads to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We keep those doors open to those areas during the day. These spaces are not as cool as main area but not blistering hot either. We have this Unit in the dining room farthest from the living room. Everything in this shared space is at a comfortable temperature. Unit is considerably quieter than the one it replaced. We've really enjoyed the fact that it is like a mellow white noise in the background. Our apartment is a 60's build apartment with very high raw timber ceilngs with little to no insulation. We typically keep the drapes closed in the winter to reduce draft from windows and equally closed during the hottest part of summer. Bedrooms have their own individual units that run in the evening with doors closed when needed. This unit will run on auto, economy at 80° during night time when common living area is not in use.

Month in no issues except for how much condensation it creates.Thou this was expected living in hot humid FL had the condensation line draining into a 5 gallon water tank. Sadly I’d still ended up emptying the water out twice a day or my floor would start to get wet. Since I work 10 hours a day sadly had to clean up the overflow a couple of times. Bought a condensate pump and it’s been nothing but a joy since I installed it. No more emptying water and no more messes. I’d say the AC works well for my bedroom it’s about 600sq Ft. keeps my room at a comfortable 72 on days when the temperature shoots up to above 93. Night time it drops down to 67 and sometimes all the way down to 65 if it’s been raining or cloudy outside. Love that I can use the app to control my AC . Hardly use the remote that came with it. Just the app mostly.

Room is absolutely frigid and it’s perfect. We have a room situated above a garage and in the winter it’s freezing and in the summer it’s boiling (live in Florida). We bought dreos wall heater and it’s amazing and figured we’d try their new evaporative cooler first. Unfortunately that didn’t work well. So we decided to return that and go all in with the portable window unit AC. Absolutely worth every penny. Unit is very nice looking (as far as a portable ac unit can), the app as always is very well laid out and informative, and most of all is an absolute power house all while being relatively quiet.

A bit overpriced, like everything these days but whatever. At least this unit delivers some cold air, but it only cools downtown 65 which is kind of lame considering it has to kick the compressor on and off, and you only get the really cold air when the compressor is on. I would expect it to go to 60. I'm beginning to think none of these standing ACs are great compared to a window AC unit or a quality central air. This is the third standing unit I'm trying from Amazon. I tried two different MIDEA standing AC units and had to return them both. One was a returned item sold to me as new, and the other did not cool well AT ALL. I would stay away from that brand personally. This Dreo unit is very good. Unboxing was as expected. Quality packaging and everything in new plastic. The unit iteself feels quality as well. Immediately upon turning the unit on everything is pleasant, and to my surprise the front directional blades are automatic going up and down to direct the cold air evenly. You can also pause them the direction you want. The App controls are great right from your phone via wifi, schedules etc. etc. I've used Dreo for my tower fan products and I'm pleased with this AC as well compared to the Midea I tried. I just wish it blew the cold air for longer periods I guess,but it works and when it's blowing cold air it is pretty darn cold. One thing they need to improve is how the exhaust clips into the window insert. It works but it's hard to do after you install the window divider and screw the window locking brackets in place for an older window.
