1. Installation is easy and very well instructed. Takes about 30-45 minutes. 2. This thing is capable of blowing arctic cold air right away. Right out of the box. 3. Sound is relaxing in my opnion. It is not too loud. Picture a little less than a hotel AC unit. 4. The app is genius and 100% compatible with any sort of router/hotspot. 5. The look is very sleek and modern. For instance the controls on the front are touch reactive but not actual buttons. It isn't massive and seems to fit any decor or layout My only complaint, so far, with this product is a very slight clicking noise I'm getting through all stages (cool fan and dehumidifier modes). Expecting it to work itself out with longer usage. All in all: great bang for your buck, more efficient than a swamp cooler or fan, feels incredibly well made and designed. The exhaust hose is ingenious (bends any which way and is absolutely leak proof). And all the different modes it has it's a true all in one with things like eco mode and auto fan speed. Really pleased with the purchase and it's worth every penny right out of the box.

This was a bit of a rage purchase after one too many sweaty afternoons in my upstairs home office.... Thanks to the sun beaming directly in and a dryer vent cooking the ceiling, my room was already hitting 90°F — and we are barely getting started here in NC with temps outside at 80°F, got some potential 30+ more degrees days up ahead. Toss in my own body heat and computers, and it was basically a sweat lodge. In a fit of sweaty despair, I panic-bought this without doing any research. Naturally, after hitting “Order Now,” I immediately found Reddit threads saying portable ACs are for clowns and window units are the only way to go. To return or plunge forward without thinking again? The latter. Installation was idiot-proof — took about 20 minutes, no instructions needed. Plug it in, cram the hose into the window, close the window tight, and boom: cold air. Now, I did go overkill and buy a bigger unit than my little 10x12 office needs (futureproofing they call it). But it was the right call — I can drop the temp from “swampy nightmare” to “Arctic tundra” in like half an hour. But in all seriousness I usually blast it at 62-64°F for 30–45 minutes until I'm physically shivering, then turn it off and stay perfectly comfy for hours. Heads up: This thing is louder than I thought, maybe its the small confined space, but the first time I had it running on a work call, someone asked if I was at the beach. Not ideal if you need total silence, but personally is a non issue since minimal time is needed to cool the room down. Also, the app is simple and works, no fuss. Seems like a no brainer but I find myself unable to say that about many smart devices/appliances these days. Wish I'd bought this three summers ago. 10/10.

Bought the DREO AC unit for the style the fact that it is able to be set up through an app on your phone, preferred the white color, the size, and the fact that it came with everything you needed to set it up along with good customer service. Like the functions the cool and quality works well for the size room. I have it in and it’s portable if needs to be moved.

So I had to wait a long time for it to warm up enough outside to actually use it, but I got it installed and have been using it for about a week now. It is fantastic, and it's cute too, it's smaller than my last one. I like that there are no buttons on the top of it, since my cats can't help but walk around on it when it's off. The window kit was able to handle my very tall windows, I think it said it goes up to over 50 inches. It was easy to install, the instructions were great. It's not very loud. It comes with a hose for water drainage, and I do live in a humid area, but I haven't had any issues yet. It keeps my little work from home office very comfortable. It has an app too but I haven't tried that yet.

I’ve had this DREO portable air conditioner for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer during these hot days. The 10,000 BTU cooling capacity is perfect for my room, and it has no problem cooling down the space up to about 14 feet, making it a solid choice for smaller to medium-sized rooms. I love that I can adjust the temperature between 61°F and 86°F, depending on how cool I want it. One of the things I really appreciate is how quiet it is. The noise level is barely noticeable—only about 45dB—so I can sleep or work without it being disruptive. This is a huge plus compared to some of the other units I’ve used in the past that were noisy and annoying. The auto-moisture control is another feature that really stands out. Even on super humid days, it handles the moisture well without the need for manual draining, which is fantastic for ease of use. No more worrying about emptying a tank every few hours!
