Efficient in removing moisture out of a space. I have a 3-bedroom apartment 1,000 sq. ft. walkout basement apartment that has a lot of moisture. This unit has no problem with pulling moisture out of all the rooms. It is running non-stop resulting in emptying the 1.7-gallon reservoir 1.25x per day.

I think mine was used. It was missing the manual and hose. It wasn't 100% packaged right either. Overall, this was a waste of energy and underperforms. I’m attempting a return. This is one of 3 dehumidifiers I currently own. I use them in different buildings but will run them next to each other to test performance. This almost $300 is the worst. No way does it do 70 pints. My 50 pint filled up 3 times with the same tank capacity prior to this filling once. The humidity sensor is off by 7-12%. It ran for 12 hours only bringing down the humidity in my bathroom by 10% but raised the temperature up to 80. So, it is inefficient, inaccurate and inefficient. I love my 4 Dreo Fans and hate this dehumidifier. I purchased another Pelonis dehumidifier with a pump for a lot less and it is working when this one was not. Don’t trust the 5 star reviews unless things improve in a few years.

The dehumidifier comes with easy to read instructions, making set up simple. It's not loud at all and we barely notice it. It has take so much moisture out of the basement area and kept it smelling much better than before. The tank is easy to empty and it lets you know when it needs done. Overall works great and does what it should.

This smart dehumidifier is a really nice looking unit that’s thoughtfully designed and packed with features, and it’s significantly more efficient than the Department of Energy standard. The only feature I might want that isn’t included in this model is a pump to empty the collected water into a sink drain. Pretty much everything else you could possibly want is included, and it’s very simple to set up and start using. The unit is very quiet, which really stood out when I compared it to an older dehumidifier I’ve been using for several years. The touch controls on the front of the unit are responsive and easy to understand. Linking it to my home’s WiFi was simple and straightforward, giving me easy remote control of the unit via an app that also gives me access to many additional features (e.g. scheduling, WiFi connection status, firmware updates, enabling voice control from my Alexas) as well as very useful historical data (e.g. room humidity readings at 15 minute intervals, runtime stats, energy usage and savings). Using the app, I can even set humidity target levels that are temperature dependent. As I mentioned, this thing is packed with features! The unit has 4 wheels on the bottom, making it easy to move from room to room. The filter is simple to remove for cleaning, and it snaps back on effortlessly, unlike some other dehumidifiers I own. The water bucket is easy to remove and empty, with a convenient fold-down handle to carry it. They’ve also done a good job of making it easy to see how full the bucket is without having to pull it out. The front of the unit has a tinted window on it with a light inside to let you see the water level even in a dark room, and the bucket contains an orange bar that floats up and down with the water level, so a quick glance is enough to check the level. The light even changes color depending on the humidity level in the room. The interior light can be turned off easily if you’re using this in a bedroom and don’t want any extra illumination at night. Likewise, the audible feedback for the front panel buttons can be disabled. The display on the front panel uses large easy to read digits, and the touch buttons are marked with intuitive icons. If you’re using it in self draining mode, there’s a connection on the back of the unit that fits the hose that’s included, or you can use a standard garden hose. The instructions are clear and well written, with plenty of pictures and diagrams to make it really easy to figure out all of the myriad features included in this device. As with all of my other DREO products, they did a great job of designing an attractive product that works extremely well. I really like this brand.

I am highly satisfied with the design and performance of this DREO smart dehumidifier. Compared to the previous dehumidifiers I’ve owned, this unit is significantly quieter. This is a massive benefit for my specific setup, as I place it right outside my room and can comfortably leave it running without it disrupting my sleep or daily activities. Another major highlight is the large capacity of the water tank. I actually measured the water volume when it was completely full and it holds right around 6.5L. In my space, it takes more than 12 hours of continuous operation to fill up completely, which is incredibly helpful. It means I only have to empty it twice a day to keep it running nonstop around the clock. The Wi-Fi connectivity is another highly practical feature; if I leave the house and realize I forgot to turn it on, I can easily kick it into gear from my phone no matter where I am. The overall aesthetic is very sleek, and it functions flawlessly at its main purpose: pulling heavy moisture out of the air. Highly recommended!

This dehumidifier has made a noticeable difference in keeping my space more comfortable, especially during humid days when the room starts to feel damp and stuffy.
