Really impressed so far!

I’ve only had this dehumidifier for a short time, but so far I’m extremely impressed with it. It was packaged very carefully and arrived in perfect condition. Setup was also incredibly simple. You basically plug it in, connect it to the app, choose the humidity level, and let it do its thing. I also love the design. A lot of dehumidifiers are pretty ugly but this one actually looks sleek and modern. The color changing humidity indicator is also a really nice touch. It makes it easy to get a quick visual idea of the humidity level without even having to look at the display. Performance has been great so far. My humidity was at 61% when I turned it on, and within the first two hours it had brought it down to 54%. I’m really happy with how quickly it’s making a noticeable difference. It is also surprisingly quiet. Even with the fan on the highest setting, it’s much quieter than I expected a dehumidifier this powerful to be. I could easily have it running while watching TV or doing other things without it being annoying. The DREO app is another huge plus. It’s very user-friendly and makes controlling the unit incredibly convenient. You can adjust the humidity level, change the fan speed and operating mode, turn the unit on or off, set timers, and monitor things like current humidity and energy usage. Being able to check and control the dehumidifier from my phone is one of those features that seems unnecessary until you actually have it, and now I don’t want to be without it. I also really like the maintenance features. The air filter is washable, so you can rinse it clean instead of constantly having to buy replacement filters, which is a big plus for me. The water tank is very easy to remove and empty, and if you have a floor drain available, you can use the included drain hose for continuous drainage instead. The large water tank is also nice because you don’t have to constantly empty it. There are also three fan speeds, automatic humidity control, a timer, and other convenient features that make it easy to just set your preferred humidity and let the machine regulate itself. So far, 10/10 and I would absolutely recommend it.

Quiet, Smart, Effective, and Surprisingly Good-Looking

I absolutely love this dehumidifier. Let's start with the obvious: it actually looks good. Most dehumidifiers seem designed by someone whose primary inspiration was a beige filing cabinet. This one is sleek, modern, and doesn't look out of place sitting in a living area. The smart features are equally impressive. The app setup was painless, connectivity has been reliable, and the controls are smooth and intuitive. It feels like a product that was designed to be smart rather than having smart features awkwardly bolted on afterward. What really surprised me, though, was the noise level. This is the quietest dehumidifier we've owned. Being the nerd that I am, I broke out a sound meter and measured it from roughly six inches away. On the lowest setting, I saw peaks around 43 dB, and on high, about 46 dB. That's an impressively small difference between operating modes. That may not sound exciting to everyone, but anyone who's lived with a loud dehumidifier knows exactly why it matters. My desire for low humidity has historically driven my wife slightly crazy because many dehumidifiers are genuinely louder than the TV. In the case of some units, she's not wrong. This one manages to keep humidity under control without sounding like it's preparing for takeoff. My only real complaint is the water tank design. The tank pulls out from the side, which means I have to rotate the unit about 90 degrees to access it comfortably. It's a minor inconvenience, but it's the one aspect of the design that feels a little awkward. On the plus side, the tank itself is surprisingly resistant to splashing and sloshing while carrying it to the sink. Anyone who has left a trail of dehumidifier water across the house can appreciate that detail. Overall, this is an excellent dehumidifier with great smart features, very low noise levels, attractive styling, and solid real-world performance. Highly recommended. Five stars.

Good Buy

This is a great machine, high functioning. It's pulls a lot of water, quickly and quietly. The app controls are better than the machine's panel controls, which are not lit at all. I wish you could control the brightness of the light, rather than just on or off. The only way to change the light color is by adjusting the humidity levels through the app. For the money, I think it should have better controls and options. Great because it has a washable filter, which was a major factor when looking to buy. It should have a longer cord, the instruction manual warns not to use an extension cord! That greatly limits where we can place it. If you have more funds to spend, I would recommend getting a better machine. For the size and the money, we were willing to spend, we thought this was the best option available. The humidity level display numbers are questionable and don't match our analog hydrometer. All I really care about is that it pulls the water from the air efficiently, so 4 stars. It's easy to dump the water tank, but it has to be dumped at least three to five times a day, for the 1.85 gallon tank. If you are pulling 75 pints per day, then you'd be looking at dumping it 5 times every 24 hours. The app is easy to use. I like that it has an automatic shut of time for 10 minutes, to let the machine rest and cool down, preventing a fire hazard. We keep it running 24/7, so this is a great feature, and we don't have to worry about turning it off every 24 hours or so. Overall, I am happy with it, and it works really well. Update: We have had it a month now and just love its performance!

Worthy purchase

Effective, power consumption is low enough that I can plug into a surge protector which I really like, and hums at a very reasonable volume. Can easily fill up the 73 pint bucket overnight with a room humidity of 50-55% and a target humidity of 40-45%. I use it in my downstairs gym room / formal attire room (best place to hang dress shirts) and the dehumidifier does a great job of keeping the humidity under 50%, which is especially helpful when my clothes are air drying. I have a separate air humidity gauge propped up in the room as well so I know the dehumidifier really is doing its job.

Dreo 733s In short it works good Low energy consumption compared to other units This typically draws around 260 watts constantly while the compressor is running I haven’t seen it spike up past that although it does have a maximum wattage rated wattage of 460 Watts I’ve tested this in smaller rooms around 100 to 200 ft.² and find that it works good for those size rooms. I’m not sure about the 2000 ft.² rated. I would caution that most of those ratings are usually higher than what the units are capable of or that’s going to be the unit running on maximum continuously in conditions where the humidity is able to be pulled out of the air. This dehumidifier works good. It’s quiet. The app is really nice. , I would say this is a very nice dehumidifier for the size and price range that it’s in and if it doesn’t work for you, I think that you will probably need something that just has a larger compressor in general and they do make a larger model of this as well. I use it with the continuous drain and the drain outlet is high enough to where you can put a decent size bucket under it. The light on it is a nice feature as well, and you can turn it on and off in the app You can adjust the RH in the app in increments as low as 1% from 35%-85% when adjusting it on the unit it is 5% increments Check the picture I put up and you’ll see the power rating label Overall, this is a very nice dehumidifier for the price and in general

Wrong ambiebnt light color. Exterior packaging in good condition, but the metal fins was damaged.

I previously purchased a DREO humidifier and was very happy with it. It worked well, and I could tell that a lot of thought had gone into the product’s design. Because of that positive experience, I chose DREO again when purchasing a dehumidifier. Unfortunately, this time I received a damaged unit. The exterior packaging was in good condition, but multiple areas of the metal fins inside the dehumidifier were bent and crushed. Since the box showed no obvious damage, this raises concerns about whether the unit was damaged before shipping or passed through quality control in this condition. I also noticed that the ambient humidity light did not match the user manual. The display showed 51% humidity, but the light appeared blue, even though the manual states that it should be green between 35% and 65%. This makes the humidity indicator light unreliable and largely defeats its purpose. I hope the DREO team will carefully investigate where the quality-control process failed. I liked the brand because of my previous experience, but issues like this can cause loyal customers to lose confidence.

Super good at dehumidification whisper, quiet

Now I have four with the wine arriving today every zone or room in my small condo is now perfect however being a Florida home these things fill up with moisture because of my old-fashioned windows, but I can’t believe that they don’t heat the house like old-fashioned dehumidifiers usually put out an enormous amount of warmth as they dry the air. These are great for basements not my hot condo and these new little DREO’s don’t heat up the zone as they dry it. They’re so mellow and quiet and very start booking their permanent part of keeping the CO2 and humidity to a bare minimum. That’s the relationship you draw down the humility I mean humidity and you also reduce your CO2 to a pleasant near being outside experience good job on these. I just wish they had fan on always because the fan is so quiet. Maybe you could push that out on a firmware update because it really deserves a fan on always toggle switch find stars yes I would recommend it now I have four of them and one for the basement that pumps are too much heat.

Dehumidifier works really well!

The dehumidifier does an excellent job at pulling excess moisture from the air! I use the product in the house and empty it when it gets full. The process of emptying the container has been an easy task, especially compared to a previous unit. When running the unit it’s fairly quiet and doesn’t disturb the household. It’s quite enough that I run at night without any problems. A couple of issues I have noticed with this unit. The thermostat is off in my opinion by three to four degrees. It read higher than the actual humidity is in the room., but with knowing this I adjust my setting accordingly. The only other thing I wished was the unit had more power. The unit runs continuously, which worry’s me some as to what my power bill will look like the next month. Hopefully everything will be comparable to my previous unit and I won’t see an unexpected high bill. The unit does state is energy efficient. Overall I’m pleased with this dehumidifier!
