First, let me start by saying I will be getting another one of these for my living room. I really wish that I could post my videos of this to show you guys exactly what I’m talking about but unfortunately Amazon’s having trouble downloading any of my videos or photos for any of my review reviews right now. I do suggest you use distilled water as opposed to just tap water because that’s where the white mist and all that stuff comes from. Refill is easy. The tank is a reasonable size. The abuse is very easy and very convenient. I love how it has the separate spot where you can put your essential oils and it has two different spots so you can put two different essential oils like lavender and say eucalyptus for sleep and breathing. I did realize that in any humidifier the lower it is the higher the humidity reads because it doesn’t disperse so you have to have it waste high to shoulder height for it to work properly. I love that I can control the setting of where I want my humidity to be in the room. It has the function at night where you can turn the lights off on the panel so it’s not keeping you up. It’s very quiet. Super easy to clean and on the app it tells you when you should clean it and it even gives you a tutorial on how to clean it so definitely look at that before you mess with it and break things. You always have to read the manuals first. And aside from this, I ended up getting a water distiller, which is fine because I can use it for drinking water as well, but you have the option of getting a filter that cleans the water for you that goes into the water tank of this humidifier I would definitely look into that and I would’ve personally got it if I knew about it before I bought my water distiller but like I said it’s fine for me. I’m putting this in here so other people know a great item definitely worth the money, even if it wasn’t on sale so check it out.

Very nice humidifier. Had an app so you can program it and it tells you many things like humidity level in the room. It's slim so fits in a variety of places it also has a lovely color when it's on. The tank is super easy to remove, refill and set back on the base with very little issue. App is very nicely set up. And easy to navigate. Very pleased overall. App also lets you know when to clean it, which I great for those of us who don't pay any attention. Great buy.

This humidifier is GREAT. BEST humidifier I’ve owned so far. COMPATIBILITY: Works with Google Assistant or ALEXA & it has WIFI built in to control it from the app. The connection to set it up was instantaneously. APP: Yes you can download the DREO app from App Store or you can scan the QR code in the instructions manual. In the App thereStore is a videos with EXCELLENT cleaning instructional video You can also purchase a new filter through the app which will allow it to reduce that white scale build up. You can ship for other products through the app as well FIRMWARE UPDATES: You can update right from the app. CLEANING: EASY TO CLEAN. Parts come apart easily for cleaning & It’s a breeze to put back. Holds about 3 days of water. It comes with a lil brush to get in between places. NOISE: There is barely any noise. IT’S QUIET!!!! You can TURN OFF THE NOISE FROM THE HUMIDIFIER IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR THE BEEPS with each press. I sometimes don’t know it’s even on. The app is a godsend. Controls at your fingertips. The auto shut off, sleep mode & timer schedule work great. You can set it to come on every day if the week if you choose at a certain time & it will shut off at whatever time you schedule it for. LIGHT INDICATOR: I like that the indicator for the humidity level is BRIGHT so you can see the color change to green when the humidity level has been reached. YOU CAN TURN OFF THE HUMIDITY LIGHT INDICATOR or lower it if you want & you can also dim or lower the humidity level as well. The app even has an indicator where it tells you how many hours you have used it so far building up to 100 hours of usage & that’s when you should clean it. I took the parts out to clean it after 3 days & I didn’t see any of that disgusting slimy film like my last humidifier. All parts were CLEAN even after 3 days. CARRY HANDLE: The handle on top makes it easy to carry to fill with water. DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX MARK. WATER: I’m NOT buying distilled water. I boil the water first & then let it sit to cool to room temperature BEFORE I put it in the humidifier. TYPE: WARM & COLD MIST. I LOVE that you can do BOTH. You can actually hear the water bubbling when it’s boiling it for warm mist ( used in winter) AROMA PADS: It comes with 3 (2 are away in the unit) You can put essential oils on the PADS ONLY, NOT IN THE WATER. You can find the pads where the power cord is. There’s a lil tray that you PUSH inward & it will pop it out (it may hv tape in it if it’s brand new or you never took it off). There’s 2 sides for 2 pads. Just slide the little square piece with the notch line on it that says “DREO” Left or right. There’s also a MINERAL ABSORPTION pad that’s in the unit already & it comes with one extra. You can even become a product tester & they will send you devices to try out. This humidifier is a WIN WIN. I’m thinking of buying another one for my living room. It’s that GOOD!!! I feel like I have an affordable DYSON OR SHARK product that didn’t break the bank.

I’m very pleased with this humidifier. PROS: Great modern, sleek look. Very quiet with just a hint of white noise that I find really comfortable when in bed at night. I am sensitive to light, so being able to turn the night light feature on and off, as well as the visual display was a huge plus for me. And most of all, I really like the smart feature that allows you to control every aspect of the humidifier from the comfort of your bed, using your phone, IPad, or any mobile device. I honestly thought this would be a cool but needless bell/whistle but I’ve really come to appreciate this feature. It adds to the overall experience by allowing me to be a little lazier (lol) while under the weather, and deservingly so. CONS: Really nitpicking at this point, but the mist output dispenser could be slightly better. The output is GREAT on this unit, but they could have slightly adjusted the ergonomic design of the dispenser so it blows more diagonal than vertical. Some prefer the upward cast, but we have a king sized bed and having more of a diagonal output would dispense that comforting mist more equitably across our large bed space, instead of whoever’s lying closest getting most of the goodness. I Have a Guardian brand humidifier in our kid’s room and they nailed on the diagonal output. But please don’t let this stop you from trying it yourself- I think you’ll love it.

I have changed this from five star to 1 star. This is our second replacement and with it being summer we have not needed to use it. I did try to use it yesterday and it’s malfunctioning. It’s reading no water. It’s full. We have taken it apart and redone it and still an error code. This is THREE products in a year, this one having been replaced in June and it is not functioning. Amazon was no help. I DO NOT recommend this product.? Initially we loved this product but less than 5 months in it malfunctioned. The water holding tank cracked for no apparent reason. I had a mess as the water leaked all over my floor and carpet. I was outside the return window on Amazon and so I was only going to give this one star. However Dreo's customer service was top tier. In 2026 finding a company that doesn't give you a hard time about an issue with their product and actually stands behind their product is a rarity. I contacted them, responded to the email they sent and am getting a replacement. This process took less than three days. The humidifier itself really is a great product, especially in the winter when you are using a fireplace. We use it also to help keep humidification a little higher in the Spring for our houseplants. I highly recommend this product based on performance AND excellent customer service because you just don't find customer service like that any longer. Initially customer service was top notch but this replacement we received in June 2026 is no longer functioning in August 2026. It is alarming that it has no water and the tank is full. I wanted to love this because of the size and the options, however, it's not worth the money when it functions for less than 3 months and there are issues. When I reached out to customer service 8/11/2026 I received and email back stating this ticket was closed.

Stuff I really like about it is the aroma therapy pad spot. It's nice to be able to do none, 1, or 2 different scents at same time. It has a 6 liter tank, top fill, easy to clean. App is very aesthetically pleasing and responsive. The device itself is pretty nice to look at. The ambient light is cool but sucks you can't customize the color. Well you kind of can but not in the way you'd think. By that I mean there's yellow, a tealish color and a blue and they are so you can glance at the humidifier and get a general idea of what the humidity range is. By default yellow means dry, teal means comfortable and blue means wet. In the app you can change the range for each color though. As for picking a custom color though that is not a thing. It has options for cool or warm mist so that's awesome. It automatically turns itself off when the tank is empty. Also can send a push notification the the app on your phone so you know it's no longer running because the tank is empty. Even if it's not running and is just simply plugged in it can record the humidity level every 15 mins in the app.. so even if you don't have the device on you have an idea of what the humidity is in the area the humidifier is in.. so that's pretty cool. The humidity sensor seems kind of picky though.. sorta seems to "hop around" more than I'd expect. Like it doesn't jump from a low number to a high number.. but just seems overly responsive. I'm a little sad it only has one nozzle and the mist just blows straight up.. not a deal breaker for me but would be awesome to have dual nozzles and maybe have them angled/tilted. As for noise it seems pretty quiet.. unless you're using warm mist on a higher setting. But that's because the water gets pretty hot for the warm mist option. Overall is a very nice humidifier with lots of options but I'd appreciate if you could customize light color, dual nozzles, and the humidity sensor wasn't overly responsive.

This Dreo smart humidifier has truly exceeded my expectations. It delivers both warm mist and cool mist, which makes it useful year-round — warm mist in the winter for comfort and better breathing, and cool mist in the summer to keep the air balanced without feeling heavy. The mist output is strong, consistent, and surprisingly efficient, especially for how sleek and modern the unit looks. One of the best features is the full smart control system. The app is extremely easy to use and lets you adjust everything — humidity level, mist strength, warm/cool mode, timer, sleep mode, and more — right from your phone. It also connects perfectly with Alexa, so hands-free control is simple and fast. I really appreciate how the app shows the real-time humidity it's producing and the current room moisture level, making it effortless to keep the room exactly where you need it. I use this in a pretty large master bedroom, and it handles the space very well. The output is strong enough to keep the room comfortable without having to constantly refill it or run it at full blast. It’s also quiet, which is important for nighttime use. I’m honestly becoming a huge fan of Dreo as a brand. I love their quality and design, and after using this humidifier, I’m planning on getting their air purifiers and fans next. This is a high-end, reliable smart humidifier that does exactly what it claims — and does it extremely well.

Love, love it. I can control it from the app on my phone and I have even linked it up to Alexa. I can tell Alexa to turn it on, to turn it off, and to put it on sleep mode which disengages the lights that distract me when I'm sleeping, all without leaving my recliner. It's extremely easy to refill, but 6L of water is hard to tote if you are frail or have arthritic hands. I use regular tap water although it would be better to use distilled, I don't have the room to store gallons of distilled water. You just have to be diligent to clean it regularly so as to avoid lime buildup--it will send a notification to your phone when it has run 100 hrs and wants to be cleaned. It will alert you when it's out of water and shuts itself off. It has a cool mist or you can choose warm mist, there are three levels of mist strength that you can choose. You can run it on automatic or manual adjustment On some occasions it makes a groaning noise on a higher setting but that's doesn't happen all the time, It's kind of temporary. Otherwise it is very very quiet. I will pleased with it and would highly recommend it. It helps stabilize the temperature in my house. when there's more humidity I don't feel like I'm cold one minute and hot the next. My dogs don't have static electricity when I touch them, which is great because they don't appreciate getting shocked from static electricity. And the humidity helps your mucous membranes from getting all dried out in the winter.
