For no reason they just stop functioning in multiple ways. My favorite wireless mouse, that I purchased on Amazon in Jan of 2022 just stopped charging. I also thought about how annoying it’s become to stop what I’m doing to wait for the wireless mouse to charge anyway…so I thought I’d take a look at wired mice to see what’s happened with them. This one works perfectly-every function-and has SO MANY fun light options. The one filmed is my favorite. The media could not be loaded. First impressions: It comes in a small, minimal waste package, with simple instructions. It seems like a good size/shape for any size hand or grip preference. It's corded, so you don't need to worry about batteries or connection issues. It has preset configurations and works great right out of the box, but if you download the software for it (super fast and easy download), there are sooo many customization options. If you're into fancy customizations, you could spend a good while going through all of the little details; but, if you're like me (minimalistic and not tech savvy at all), the customizations are super simple and self-explanatory, and not necessary for use. There are six preset DPI mouse speeds (1000, 1200, 1600, 4000, 6400, 12800), but they can be individually changed and adjusted to your preferred speeds. For regular/"office" use: The lights can be turned off for a more subtle, professional look. There are mouse sensitivity, scroll speed, and double-click speed settings. For gaming: I've only used it on World of Warcraft so far. The "office" configuration and "gaming" configuration are easy to switch between (with one hold of a button), so, if you like your in-game "look speed" to be different from your typical mouse speed, that's an option. The two biggest problems I have when gaming are 1) death-gripping my controllers and mice to hard that the buttons stop working, so it's nice to have a mouse that clicks when I want it to, and 2) my hands getting so sweaty that I can't properly grip the mouse, especially when every millisecond counts (yes, queue the PVP losses and raid/mythic wipes...), so this honeycomb shell is a life-saver with its breathability, along with allowing you less slippery grip. This mouse is also super lightweight, so reaction time is way better than with other mice. Side note: If it's not gliding on your mousepad, it's probably because you haven't peeled off the clear plastic on the little pads on the underside of the mouse. All-in-all, I've only had it hooked up for a few minutes, and am still going through the customizations, but it's awesome so far! P.S. You can configure the lights to look like a Cylon from Battlestar Galactica;) (Video attached for reference.) Hope this helps! ... show more

It is very light and feels very comfortable in the hand. It's also ergonomically designed so I can use it for long periods of time without getting tired. The RGB lighting effect of this mouse is very cool. The button on the left is often touched by mistake at the beginning of use. I was not expecting to like this mouse, at all, being from a brand I've never heard of, and also being priced at $19.89 (at time of review). I dislike custom software for devices, but it comes with pretty much everything these days. Thankfully, software is not needed to get most of the functionality out of this mouse. It worked out of the box with the settings I use for my primary mouse. Even the tracking was correct. Thankfully, the software is unobtrusive and simple to use. When uninstalled, it only leaves a settings file behind, which is fine. See pictures for comparison with a SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless, my gaming mouse, and a simple Logitech M185 laptop mouse. Pros: -Great sized mouse for my goofily large hands, the arch fits perfectly. -Button placement is better than mice I've used in the $80-range. I can reach everything without issue. -Love that the mouse wheel can be used without having to bend my index finger 90 degrees. Why in the heck do so many computer mice think your index finger is as short as your pinky finger? -Interesting mouse wheel ridges that are like 1/16" tall and super grippy. Never used a mouse wheel like it, but it is quite nice to me. -Easy to change DPI but not so easy you'll do it accidently. -Nice RGB presents, good settings in mouse software. -Mappable button with software. -Buttons are nice and clicky providing good feedback, yet not obnoxious -Nothing rubs up against other surfaces when pressed, very impressive for a $19.99 mouse... I had to return an $89 Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro Wireless due to buttons that squeaked and rubbed against the frame. -Feels well-made and that it should last a good amount of time -Thanks to the length of the left/right/back/forward buttons, and overall size of the mouse, you can hold this mouse in the claw or rested-palm positions comfortably Negatives: -The mouse skates show signs of wear really fast, so not sure how well they'll hold up without a cloth mouse pad. I use an aluminum mouse pad, and whilst super smooth, is likely causing wear faster. -The mouse wheel could have stronger indentations/clicking as scrolled -Nothing else as of now after a few days of work and gaming It'll take a lot more use to see how well this mouse holds up. First impressions, this is an extremely good, wired mouse and I have no issues with everything from Excel to Destiny 2. Note: I did not test the validity of polling rate, DPI, or accuracy. I just used it like any other mouse and your milage and usage will vary greatly Does it beat out the Aerox 5 wireless, no, not at all, but it's not trying to either, especially being that it's not wireless. You can get a SteelSeries Aerox 3 wired mouse for ~10-15 more on sale rather frequently, which this mouse competes, so far, rather well against. ... show more
