A real review by a real human - Dreamzie 89 L Sectional
Color: Beige
Size: 89" Chenille
This sofa is all over the internet, so here is a real unpaid review... First some data I found of sofa look alikes. Wayfair - Hokku Designs 89" L-Shape Sectional Sleeper Sofa - $1,449 Wayfair - Latitude Run 89" Reversible L Shaped Bayboro - $1,349.99 Amazon - Lumisol 89" Convertible Sleeper Sofa - $633 + $199 Shipping Amazon - Dreamzie 89" L Shaped Sectional Sleeper Sofa - $679 I purchased the Dreamzie 89" in Beige from Amazon. Based on my research, these sofas are all identical. They all are made in China and just have a different generic brand box and instructions (but again do your own research). My first concern is I live in a small apartment and I have a narrow stair case to bring things up. I had to return a previous sofa because it would not fit up our stair case. This comes in three boxes, so that is not an issue for a narrow or small stair case. You will need TWO people to carry the boxes. Two of them are about 50lbs and long. One is smaller and I could lift myself. For reference, I am a small 40 year old women and was able to carry 1 box alone and the other 2 boxes with a friend. Shipping: It came in two days, with no notice. Actually pretty impressed I received it in 48 hours, but also I was not prepared at all as estimated delivery date was 5-7 days and I needed help bringing it up the stairs. So be aware, no tracking or any information, it just arrives in three boxes. Installation: I built it by myself. I'd say I am semi skilled in the building department. All tools and hardware were included. Day 1, opened boxes and let all the pillows "air" out and removed from vacuum seal, took about an hour to open everything. Day 2 assembled the sofa. I'd say it took me about 90 minutes to 2 hours to assemble by myself. With two people focused, you could do it in an hour. Instructions are straight forward, except at the end when u put the bed part under the sofa, make sure you correctly add the left and right bracket to keep the bed from coming out. Appearance: I like the look of the sofa. I think it is a nice style with a good seating for 3 adults, probably a 4th. It comes with two throw pillows that are paper thin garbage, throw them away and get your own accent pillows. The storage is large and has a nice hinge to open and close. Bed takes a little effort but pops up and down easily. I took a nap on it closed, and it was firm, but comfortable. Before I have anyone sleep on this, I'm buying a mattress topper to to even it out and adding a little cushion. Overall Feel: I will echo everyone else's comments online, this is a firm, but comfortable couch. I am noticing it already softening, and hopefully overtime it will soften more. Also, this is supposed to be beige. It's off white at best. I have to see how it holds up to stains. So if you have kids or pets, I'd stay away from beige and go with grey. In conclusion: Value for the money? With tax, I purchased this in May of 2026 it came in around $740 shipped to my door in 48 hours. I think that is a good value, and I am happy. It's a nice looking sofa, sturdy, can easily be taken apart and I do like the fabric. Does this feel like a $2,000 west elm sofa? Absolutely not. You can tell upon inspection it's on the cheaper size. If you want a sofa that fits in a small space, delivered fast, easy to assemble, has storage, pop out bed for guests, and most importantly is under $1,000....yes this is your sofa.
