This is a really nice looking, and feeling mattress, doesn't look, or feel cheaply made in any way. Setup was simple, open and unroll, then wait it for it to decompress. It was almost decompressed to its full height within a matter of minutes. We let it sit for 24 hours before we slept on it, and by then it was actually a small bit taller than it should have been because the pillow top is so nice and fluffy. Speaking of the pillow top, its fantastic. Very, very soft, nice and cloud like. The mattress itself as a whole isn't overly soft though. Its very comfortable, being both soft, but slightly firm, and supportive at the same time. I weigh around 190, and my wife weighs around 110, we do sink into it a little, but thats what we were looking for. If your a larger person than myself, I think it could potentially end up feeling more on the firm side. Yes, when you sit on the edge of the bed, it squishes in, its an all foam mattress. This doesn't bother us at all, but we were expecting it to be like that. So if your a stickler for firm edges to sit on or such, keep that in mind. On the heat side, I'm a pretty hot sleeper normally, and so far I don't feel like I'm getting as hot at night sleeping on this mattress compared to our old pocket spring mattress. There doesn't seem to be any indents forming in it yet or anything, and the pillow top pops right back up to its full fluffiness as soon as you get off of it. Overall, this was a great purchase in my opinion. Got a quality mattress, for a great price. Couldn't be happier. As a heads up, at the time of this review, we've only had the mattress around 2 weeks, but I'll try to remember to come back and update this after 6 months or so for those of you that are interested in how it holds up over time. *** Update - October 31st 2019: Been a little over 6 months now, and this mattress is still in excellent condition. Its still the same height it was on day one, and has not sagged at all in any place. The pillow top portion is also still just as "fluffy" as it was on day one. We sleep/have slept on it every night, it is not a guest room mattress. As I originally said, this is a really nice mattress, at an unbeatable price. I'm still extremely happy with our purchase of this mattress, and still can't believe how well made it is for the VERY, VERY, reasonable price of it. If your looking for a good mattress, stop looking, and just buy this, I personally don't think you'll be disappointed. I'll come back around the one year mark, and leave another update for those that may be interested. *** Update - January 1st 2022: This mattress is still great! It has been almost 3 years since we purchased it, we use it every day, and it has not lost its shape, and is still extremely comfortable. On Dec 11th I ordered an 11 inch queen mattress. I was really impressed at how fast I received my mattress in 2 days, was expecting a little longer. Had prepared my bed and removed my old spring mattress and unboxed the new mattress. After I unrolled it, I realized it was a twin size. I contacted the seller and they were very nice & willing to help. At first I was asked to return the twin mattress that had fully expanded. There was no way it was going back in the box. Although we actually tried to roll it back up, it wasn't happening. After a couple emails the company took responsibility on their part and suggested I donate it and they would get my queen mattress out right away. To my absolute surprise, the next day, not even 24 hours after contacting them, my mattress had arrived. Very impressive!! That's good old fashioned American customer service! I was a little more cautious on opening this mattress and made sure all the numbers matched from shipping tag, box and tag on mattress. They did so I unrolled my mattress. Queen it was! Looked very nice and I gave it time to expand. That evening I sat on it, it's definitely a bit firm but not hard. But I questioned the thickness.. The 11 inch is supposed to be a medium firm base with a pillow top softness. I measured the sides after 24 full hours and it's around 9.5 inches. I looked at the tag dimensions and that's what it says on the tag. I've already got this bed set up, it's not bad. But I wanted a little more softness and I ordered the 11 inch. But I got the 9.5 inch after receiving the wrong size in the first place. VM Express has really good customer service. Very prompt shipping, but they do have some incompetence in their warehouse. Someone cannot pull orders right. I was sent a twin first, corrected it and sent a queen but it was a 9.5 in queen and as my order clearly states on Amazon, I ordered a 11 inch queen. So.... What can we do? If you like medium firm, this is a nice mattress, it has a soft bedding feel. It's very well made, no odors at all. Made in the USA! I cannot say anything bad about the product! I can't even say anything bad about VM Express other than someone on the shipping floor is not good at reading order numbers. All I wanted was an 11 inch queen mattress. That's it.     • Slept through the night for the first time in YEARS

I have been sleeping on a 6 inch coil spring brick for the last 7 years and my boyfriend literally could NOT sleep in my bed because it was so hard (car accident as a teen has lead to lifelong back problems). He has the cool gel Dreamfoam and I was like “listen here self, you never fall asleep fast, you toss and turn and wake up 184729 times during the night, JUST BUY THE SAME ONE” but I wanted something more, I wanted to be extra, something that felt like landing into a cloud filled with puppies running up to you, AND THIS IS IT. Unboxing was easy, and it poofed right up to 10.5 inches and then after a few hours the full 11 and lemme tell you: I slept through the night and didn’t even move. It’s a little warm, but that meant I got to crank my fan up to FULL POWER, and it’s soft, the pillow top is just like rubbing your face against a flannel you’ve had for 15 years. I am a side/stomach sleeper who tucks my arm under my pillow and hikes my leg up, and there’s support underneath the beautiful 4 inches of cloud like pillow top. CON: it did have a weird acetone smell upon opening it, but ya know, some Rose Jam from Lush sprayed over it and I didn’t put a sheet on it for the first night and WOW only the rose smell remains 💃🏼 I’ll be back in 6 months to leave an update, but I’m happy with my $240 investment (and so is my boyfriend 👌🏻) ... show more

Terrible Quality Mattress. Corners and sides of mattress never uncompressed and inflated after several months. Makes for a VERY uncomfortable sleep. Mattress impossible to roll up in order to return and no resolution other then returning the mattress for review. Was given customer service phone number to help troubleshoot and it's a recording stating "no one is available to help you at this time", then disconnects the call. No option to leave a voicemail or call back number. ... show more
