I read the reviews before purchasing, reading the pros and cons of buying this type of mattress. I went to a local mattress store and tried out their "hybrid" mattresses, not telling them I was sizing it up for an online purchase. This was significantly cheaper than buying from the stores in town. I read one gentleman's review that gave me the confidence to give it a try. He raved about how great the mattress was and would return to give updates along the way to inform whether it was only a quality mattress in the beginning and if it depreciates along the way type entries. I am happy to say, "that guy was spot on" - it's a great mattress. Yes it is a little different than regular mattresses - if you are trending to always sit on the very edge of the mattress (not fully with your knee and butt area all on the bed) you will feel what you think is a weakness and it's not firm (I assume this is normal, as the local store hybrid mattress was the same way...). You have to literally sit fully in the bed with your knees right up the mattress before sitting down to avoid this. Once you are in the bed it's amazing - it is not weak by any means, it is extremely comfortable. I have a bad back - birth defect - have had to sleep in a recliner for the last few years. This is the FIRST mattress that I can actually sleep on and still walk the next morning - I have thanked God nightly upon lying down because of the relief and comfort this mattress offers me. I primarily sleep on my side with some back positioning at times. My husband sleeps on his side/back/stomach and he likes the mattress also. We could not sleep in the same bed because of our varied preferences and needs in a mattress. We got the wild idea to buy 2 xl twin mattresses and put them together to build the king bed. It's PERFECT, we don't wake one another up moving around, can get in/out of the bed without disturbing the other one etc. My need for a firm/softer mattress and his need for a firmer/not as soft as my preference mattress was met in this one mattress selection -it's literally the BEST mattress we have ever slept on. HIGHLY recommend this particular mattress. ***I bought 3 xl twin mattresses - one for me/husband for the king bed and one for my elderly 85 yr old mother who said her back was hurting with the old mattress. We are all three very happy with our selection of this hybrid mattress that arrived in a box haha That alone scared me - arriving in a box? Who would have thought it would turn out to be such a godsend for us all? **NOTE: I was prepared to buy whatever mattress type I needed and whatever my husband needed - which is partially why we went to the mattress shop to test out all of the mattress types in person. I anticipated us to have different mattresses due to our history of hating the other one's preferences for a mattress...amazingly we both ended up liking the same mattress in the store over all other high-end mattresses (the hybrid won us both). I would have to say - this is a HIGH-END mattress as it definitely met the criteria of consumer satisfaction - which should be the ruling element in determining what is "high-end" and what is not.

I’ve contemplated for months getting this bed. I originally seen the mattress on the manufactures website and heard so many mixed reviews. There were many folks that enjoyed have the bed but of course I had to look up the 1-2 star reviews. Some people didn’t like the policy to return the bed. I mean who would want to go through the hassle of getting a bed in a box that you can’t necessarily place back into the box, right?? Well I received my bed on 7/18. It’s now 10/5 and I’m getting some of the best sleep I’ve ever had on this mattress. I took advantage of Amazon’s Prime Day sale and got the mattress for $600-700 less than the original price. That was a steal considering I went with the premier medium and with euro pillow top feel. My last mattress was a beauty rest euro pillow top and it has the springs in them. The bed lasted a good 8 yrs. This bed doesn’t have the springs and exceeds the expectations of lasting much longer than the beauty rest. I went with this brand because it’s compatible with most adjustable bed frames. Once I get my frame to work properly, I’ll give an update on the movement of the mattress on the frame. Upon arrival, the Amazon delivery drivers refused to bring it all the way up to my third floor apartment. I had to get two additional guys to bring it up for me the next day. This is a big bed, you’ll need the extra hand. I will say that my bed frame is for California king mattress and I bought the king size mattress, this fits the California king mattress frame completely. It’s very thick. My sheets fit the mattress but my king sized comforters don’t. Only one of my king sized comforters fits this mattress. You’ll need to pay attention to the measurements. Taking it out of the box required an extra hand and also take it out of the packaging. But once we’ve laid it down to inflate, I left for several hours and came back it was ready to lay on. It’s recommended to wait a full 24hrs but I had no bed when I moved in and couldn’t do another night on the bean bag. My partner and I slept so good on the first night, it feels like you’re waking up refreshed. I don’t feel my partners motion when getting in and out of this bed. There’s plenty of room on the bed and unless you’re right up under each other, you will not feel them on the bed at all. There’s also no issue with the bed returning back to its original shape. In fact, I don’t notice the bed sinking in while on it. The only issue I’ve probably noticed was the support while sitting on the edge. Otherwise the shape retention isn’t an issue. This bed is so comfortable, I now want to get one for my son. He constantly comes to lay in bed with me and says how comfortable it is. There’s never a moment I’m not in this bed. I suggest getting the premier. It’s a game changer when it comes to comfort and rest.
