These are your basic highlighters. The colors are pastel, which has a fairly-like feel to them. The colors are subtle and easy on the eyes. It's certainly not the typical highlighters you see at the back to school sales at the office supply store. While using these highlighters, I find that some of the colors are too faint for my taste. And as you can see in some in my photos, 3-4 are indistingusihable from another. Out of the pack of 12 highlighters, I feel like 6 are decent, whereas the others are a little disappointing. As mentioned above, either faint, indistinguishable and/or streaky. They aren't expensive and I can see someone who isn't too picky about office supplies enjoying them. side note: The highighters are petite rectangular-shaped with sharp edges. The colors are unnamed. They do dry fast. The colors are soft. I do see a little bit of bleeding. Since these are marketed as bible highlighters, it depends on the quality of your bible. During my test, I used a staples legal pad with a rollerball pen. The highlighter did bleed a tad bit for the places I added pressure (such as the inital contact of the highlighter tip to the paper) ... show more
