The Claritin disintegrating pillow "Reditabs" are a true wonder in oral pharmaceutical delivery. There is a curious pleasure on gets when you place it on your tongue, close your mouth, and the heat and moisture of the mouth cause it to disintegrate within seconds into a light puff of flavor. This is the visceral effect I was hoping for when I purchased these substitutes. It's the same generic medicine, loratidine, in the same dosage. The form is far more pill-like and the texture is no "disintegrating" it is distinctly "chewable." Unlike some "chewables" it does chew easily and, once one has given it a good crush between the molars it does then disintegrate. The flavor in these is a little more distinctly spearmint and a little more distinctly sweet than the that of the Claritin tabs. Amazon has seen to it that the pull tabs used to dispense a tablet are marked clearly and operate easily so that even a person suffering from ongoing sneezes and itchy eyes has a good chance of success in opening the foil packaging. These allergy pills work every bit as well. They are a great choice; and there is absolutely nothing to object to here, aside from a slightly misleading expectation that the texture matches that of Claritin "Reditabs." ... show more

They're so small that you don't even notice swallowing them. Definitely worth using.
