The weights, lead-free, are easy to put in the hem of curtains. I used one of those plastic/nylon tag attacher guns to keep them in place in the hem...which you have to do as they slide around. I put the weights in the hem of outside drapes to tyry and keep them from blowing around so much. They work ok when the wind isn't blowing too much. They started banging on the sliding glass windows and then I found a way to secure the drapes with a strap to the wall and only let them billow when the wind is tame. ... show more

I have been looking everywhere for weights for my heavy outdoor curtains. I settled on these and it's still not what I was looking for. They are on the lighter side, but i can add several so that they work. They shipped quickly and not too bad on the price. Maybe just not what I needed.

I purchased these to weight down our shower curtain, but had to use the entire pack as they weren't heavy enough. I wouldn't purchase these again.

I needed something to help hold my sheers in place when I pulled back my curtains. When I get the chance to open the windows for fresh air, I take it. I also like my privacy so, being able to do both by weighing down the sheers was a great option. Some have mentioned these are too light but I wouldn't want much additional weight. The window that does get stronger winds does have two weights at each side of the bottom sleeve and this works well for me. Hey, there is a return option if they aren't a match for you. ... show more

If you are simply trying 2 way down extremely light shear curtains these might work otherwise don't waste your money. You're going to have to use three or more in each area to do anything. Didn't have time to send them back waste of money.

These worked out great to hold my drapery corners straight and in place. Easy to insert at edge of hem and stitch in place.
