It sits in the case really snug and it's real secure, but it wasn't a huge struggle to take out to put a screen protector on. It's real easy for my four year old to maneuver. It’s alright. I would give 3.5 star. It works and you can play games, but so slow sometimes and battery dies so fast. After used less than five minutes, it already dropped from 100% to 94% and after another like half hour it dropped to 74%. Some games don’t even show - only dark screen. Tablet works good, although sometimes it freezes and has to be restarted. Not sure if it's apps or the operating system. Loads things like Netflix, ABC Mouse, Disney+, etc. without any issues but some of the games will stop responding to touch. A Restart fixes it but it does tend to get annoying. Paired it with some magnetic Mini-USB charging cords to avoid problems with damage to the charging ports, which I'd recommended for younger users. Oh, and the first one we purchased developed a weird buzzing sound when headphones were plugged in. Purchased Blu-tooth headphones for our daughter as a work around. ... show more

I'm still getting use to this tablet, but overall, it's good! I ordered the Amazon tablet for my toddler because I researched and read it was the best. My main reason I wanted a tablet for my toddler is because we will be traveling and she loves listening to music. I love Spotify because I'm able to create a playlist just for her and add songs so easy. Spotify Kids is not compatible with the Amazon tablet not is Spotify itself unless you have an Alexa. We don't have an Alexa. When trying to figure out how to get her music, I had no options other than to add yet another subscription. I also couldn't figure out how to navigate their apps. So I researched again and came across the DragonTouch! So far it's great! I'm still trying to figure out how to get it in kids mode so that my toddler doesn't download a bunch of stuff. But haven't played with it enough. But so far, I definitely recommend. ... show more

The tablet I got had an internal issue and couldn't run the program properly. Customer services for dragontouch were incredibley nice and helpful to fix the issue. This tablet is very nice and the attachments that come with it are great!

I think the size is perfect for my preschooler. I love that it came with 2 straps and stylist and stickers. It has kids friendly apps already installed but you still can install your own. Only issue is the frame did come with a tiny dent in the top right side corner, the kick stand seems to not maintain the tablet up right. It falls down some times, and you sometimes have to press harder than usual on the touch screen. Minor things that I notice that iam sure my preschooler won't care about.
