I bought two of these for my black & white tuxedo decor of my garage. They are exactly what I wanted. They were easy to assemble, parts were packaged well in bubble wrap and cardboard, appear to be good quality, and hope they last along time! Only draw back is they are not made for a real big person. I am 6ft, 240lbs, and the seat is not quite big enough for me. The seat measures only 19ins from the back rest to the front and the seat is 20 ins wide. Half my thighs hang off the front of the chair, and the armrests could be a longer as only half my arm is supported. But they are better and more comfortable than the small stools I was using. If your a larger than average person, you may not like how they fit! For me, they work as I lowered the chair to where my feet are flat on the floor and is much more comfortable for a larger person. If they made a Big and Tall version of this chair it would be a great seller. I hope they someday make it. I like the way they look in my garage. They are good quality chairs, albeit, they not made in the good ol USA!!

The lady that convinced me in the video review to buy this who said the divots on the arm of the chair aren’t a big deal - well they are. If you work from home and at times, long hours, then it will drive you insane. It makes it uncomfortable to the point I have to limit my arm resting. If you’re ok with that then the other features of the chair are fairly good. I have a standup desk so I do switch positions often, from sitting to mid to not using my chair so I like all levels of positioning available. But if you have a project to focus on for hours and need to sit, lean and use the arm rest, it’ll get annoying. I’ll likely find something to cover the arm rest like cover the chair with a soft throw or even something like leg warmers on the arms. I do wish there were more leaning options to recline but the as someone with a bad back, the foot rest and lumbar support is good. Also, get it on sale because it’s not worth $200 so wait for the $149 deal with the additional $20 coupon. Then it’d be worth dealing with the limited features and minor nuances of this chair.

Chair went together easily. Once I sat down for one of my writing marathons, I was so pleased with the difference I felt when I stood up. Minor back ache, compared top my old chair. Sitting for several hours, I still need to stay conscious of my posture, but this chair makes it so much easier. I use it at a standing/sitting desk and it adjusts to both perfectly if I choose to sit at higher position. Best part, for me, are the retractable arms—I enjoy the option of using them. Seat is comfortable, I just hope I don't wear it down too soon. My only negative comment would be the foot bar. I tend to wok barefooted, so it would be nice if it were padded, but I have a footstool I can use.

I have a couple of workshops with tall workbenches and was looking for something more comfortable than the mechanics stools I had been using. This chair is very similar quality to my Herman Miller Aerons. We will see how it holds up but I am very pleasantly surprised. For those concerned about "sloping forward" I find that I simply needed to sit with better posture. The chair is very comfortable, and I am 6'2, 215 #. If you need it to raise even higher, simply get a set of the 3" rollerblade wheels. Some may be slightly larger than others, but the set that I purchased added a full 2" of height and the roll around the workshop is super smooth. Great chair! Great price! Get some better wheels and you will love it.

However, it might be a bit too tall for shorter individuals, requiring an additional footrest to avoid feet dangling when pushed against the chair's back. Review: The Silybon Drafting Chair impressed me with its comfort and ergonomic design. The seat is cushioned, and the built-in lumbar support ensures aches and pains are minimized during long periods of sitting. The adjustable footring is a great feature, providing additional leg support and relaxation. Setting up the chair was a breeze, and the assembly instructions were straightforward. The chair feels sturdy and well-built, easily supporting my weight. The breathable mesh back keeps me cool throughout the day, and the materials seem durable. However, if you're on the shorter side, the chair might be too tall for you, making a footrest necessary to avoid feet dangling when pushed against the back (I don't think using the footring all day is a great idea due to the angle of your legs). Besides that, I'm relatively pleased with the overall comfort and functionality of the chair. In summary, the Silybon Drafting Chair offers great comfort and support for long hours of work. Just keep in mind the height aspect if you're shorter in stature. Overall, it's a worthy addition to any workspace.

I am pleased with this chair. It goes well with my height-adjustable desk. Even with the desk at normal height, it's great! The footrest rocks and makes it more comfortable. I do wish the cushion was a little more...cushion, especially for long periods of sitting, but then I can just raise the desk and stand for a bit. It hasn't been a big deal for me. The armrests can be moved up and out of the way, which is an added benefit when I want to get closer to the desk. Overall, very happy, and a huge improvement to the old leather desk chair I had with almost no cushion.

It’s comfortable and easy to assemble. I put it together myself in less than 40 minutes while watching tv. I’m short with a high desk for work so have to use a footstool for ergonomics. I was concerned about ordering a chair without testing its height and comfort first. I’m very pleased! I’m able to sit at the right angle to support my wrists and I love the airflow through the backrest, which had a tiny spot of discoloration when I opened the package. It’s sturdy and feels like it’s going to last a while.
