This is my girlfriend's account that we both share but im the one who uses the insoles lol I don't normally write reviews but im bored and I actually like this product lol. Im male 34 and I have been using these insoles for easily over 12 years now mainly in my work boots as I do a lot of walking on my job. I got them initially by random because what I was using at the time wore out and this was something I figured id try. I was really surprised by how comfortable they were when walking a lot so kept using them because I haven't found anything better yet especially for this price. There is lots of solid long lasting arch support which is something I need and can be hard to find on the level that is comfortable for me that doesn't give out right away. The heel absorbes a good amount of pressure and shock due to the gell making walking really comfortable. I wear a 10 and a half wide timberland pro boot and it fits perfectly with a little trimming around the toes. The only negative thing that I can really say about them is that they do get kinda uncomfortable for me if im just standing in one spot not moving around very much but I don't usually have that problem as I work as a repairman in a larg automotive factory and walk 10 to 20 thousand steps in a single eight hour shift five days a week plus mandatory overtime every 3rd weekend. I am also lifting/carrying easily up to 100lbs on a fairly regular basis depending on what im doing on any given day. When I first started using them I was around 185 lbs and am currently at 225 (not fat its muscle lol) and I will say they do wear out a good bit faster over the 200 lb mark but for the price and ease of use it doesn't bother me to change them every two or three months using my original boot insoles as a template for sizing to cut them to. I can tell they do there job because brand new there really comfortable but as they wear out I start to ache in my ankles and knees and I replace them based on if im starting to ache a lot or not after maby a week or so. Iv tried other brands and styles here and there but always end up coming back to these because there the most comfortable and decent price to boot (pun definitely intended). Sorry but im to broke to be spending $50 to $100 or more on insoles im going to need to replace every few months lol hope this was helpful lol ... show more

There is an orange, very rigid piece on the bottom that I find quite uncomfortable. It digs into my foot. Otherwise, the insoles are fine: they have good arch support and good heel cushioning.

I recently purchased a pair of motorcycling boots which, as designed, fit a bit snug. The removable insoles they came with were somewhat cushioned around the heel, but lacked arch support and shock absorption. Unfortunately, the front of the insole was quite thin and the front of my foot just fit without room to spare. I did not have much luck after purchasing a few pair of insoles from different manufacturers. I could see they were either too thick or lacked arch support. I finally discovered these Extra Comfort insoles, which also satisfied weight and width requirements. On receiving them I saw they were mostly thin gel with a plastic stiffener to provide real arch support. After trimming them to size they worked perfectly! I took my dog for a walk and my stiff motorcycle boots actually felt like sneakers. If you're looking for insoles that provide good arch support, cushioning and shock reduction while also fitting in a snug shoe, these might work for you. ... show more
