I injured my knee playing tennis and used this for a a couple of days so I didn't have to limp around. This brace is well made, it fits well, is very comfortable, offers good knee support... but I had to stop using it. The first reason is that I put it on fairly tight, and it caused my ankle to swell (nothing serious). And if you don't tighten it as much then of course it doesn't support your knee as well. The second problem is that it irritated my skin, causing little red bumps (maybe I'm allergic to it). That may or may not affect you. Bottom line: this is a good brace that's easy to put on and adjust, and that stays put once you do. But for the above reasons it's useless for me, so I have to give it 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more

I purchased this knee brace to replace my old worn out one. This brace is of much better quality and performed well. The only issue I have is that after the first day of use, the area behind my knee was very itchy. I thought nothing of it until I put the brace on the next day. Within an hour the same area was itchy again. This time I took a closer look and saw red welts where the brace was against my skin. I have never had any contact allergies but the rubber wavy pattern (See attached picture) is irritating my skin. If you have contact allergies, you might want to take a second look before purchasing this specific model. ... show more

this Brace is my back up brace that goes in my golf cart. my orthopedic surgeon advised me to always wear the brace when I play golf or walk on uneven surfaces. I have had the first brace for 6 months and always find it stabilizes my right knee cap, that was broken in a fall. anchors my center of gravity as well. I would have given the brace 5 stars if it fit my knee better -- it could provide a snugger fit--I am a short woman. ... show more

I have a torn meniscus. It has been awesome for hiking and workouts. I put it on the outside of my leggings. It's not comfortable on skin. I may have ordered a size too large, but it works because when I wear it, no pain, when I don't, pain. The problem is after 2 months, it stretches out too far so now it's too big, but I still wear it. I'd buy again. ... show more

Wearing a brace is new for me and I didn’t want to wear it. This brace holds my knee in place, no feelings as if my knee was going to give out. I am able to move around better with the brace on. It did snag a pair of jeggings though. I highly recommend this knee brace.

The brace helped with my knee pain. However, after two days, the tendon behind my knee became very irritated from the hard support strip on the brace. I'll give it another try when the tendon feels better. I will just wear it for short periods.

As stated, fit is most important. Because this brace is a wrap around, it can be adjusted to fit you better than a sleeve. The velcro straps make it easy to adjust for support and comfort. It is well made and should last for a long time. As for the colors, some people are fashion conscious, so it does satisfy those who have to look good at all times. One last thing, it is a medical device that is well designed with stays and padding in t right places, so looking good is not the reason for buying it. ... show more

I got the XL and am normally a women sz 14 pant. Fits great, generally comfortable, except when the little straps are biting into the back of your leg or it itches in the back. Easily adjusted if it is sliding down your knee
