I've now been wearing Dr. Brace Elite for over a month and am VERY happy with it. I am trying to put off a knee replacement and this brace effectively stabilizes my knee. It does not slip. EDIT: having worn this to work several times I got a bad rash! I noticed the Velcro closures were very different which led me to wonder if the material has changed. My solution for today’s shift is … tubular gauze, all cotton. I’m going to cut out a length that is shorter than the brace so it doesn’t interfere with the silicone that keeps the brace from slipping. I really hope this helps. 2 weeks after not using the new one, I still have marks & irritation. I’m hoping for the best! I had to have a knee replacement in 2020; I waited way too long. I went through at least 15 different braces before trying Dr Brace. Once I did, it was exactly the thing that worked for me. As the knee pain worsened, this brace helped a great deal. Now, I need the other knee replacement but I’m putting it off since this time isn’t as bad. For reference, I was hardly able to ambulate with my first knee pre-surgery. Now that the other knee is making itself known, I am ironically working in a hospital and often find 12,000 steps on my watch. This brace has made all the difference. I will say though, with daily wear, each brace historically has lasted a few months. I went through 3 last time before getting my surgery and I just ordered my 3rd now. I wear these braces feeling way more confident that I will get through my overnight shifts without incident. I’m also noticing that I don’t have the pain of overuse I had before I started wearing the brace again. I suppose it takes trial and error, but honestly in my experience the Velcro makes all the difference. This brace hasn’t slipped once in the almost 2 years I’ve used them. I will be buying another one since it’s good to have at least two so one can be washed - they air dry pretty quickly but I can’t be without one! ... show more

My knee is pretty bad - I'm about 6 weeks away from complete knee replacement surgery so I'm not getting a lot of relief by using the brace, but I will say that it's fairly comfortable & definitely stays in place as I'm moving around. The manufacturer notes that if your measurement is close to the top of the size range that you should go to the next size & I found out that that's definitely true. I thought I was enough inside the size range that it wouldn't matter, but I wish the straps were a little longer. ... show more

I bought this to replace a meuller knee brace I bought at a sporting goods store that wasn't working for me anymore. I'm only 25 but I've had knee pain and buckling since I got hit by a car in the crosswalk last year after they ran a red and weren't paying attention. I was really worried about wasting my money because I'm kind of having to be frugal right now, so I did do some digging into the claims around this brace before I bought it. I can tell you that the doctor holding the brace in the picture has nothing to do with this product, and the bit about it being 'worn by professional athletes around the world' is false. It was hard because there is literally no trace of this knee brace or the brand that makes it anywhere else online except for this Amazon page. But I can tell you it was designed in Isreal in September of last year and the designer filed for a patent on it in April of this year which is still pending. So it is not designed in America and made in Germany like it says here either. The box says made in China also. But false advertising gimmicks aside, I bought it anyway based on the good reviews. I'm 5'7" and around 155lbs and bought a medium. My measurements are 14" to 16" and it fit perfect. It is a very good quality brace, it seems sturdy and does what it's supposed to do which is make my knee feel more stable and help with the pain. It is a little shorter than the meuller brace, about 2" difference, but it is a better brace than that one. It does leave red marks on the skin, especially where the knee hole is, and made my skin itchy after wearing it for a while. I put on a copper fit sleeve under it which fixed the itching and after wearing it for a while I'll see if it helps the marks too. It is a bit bulky so don't expect it to be invisible under pants like the woman wearing skinny jeans in the product video. But over all, despite some false claims to hype the product, it is good quality and good for the price (it was $19.99 with a $2 coupon making it $17.99 when I bought it, I see it is now $24.99) and it does its job very well. I do recommend. I have noticed after wearing it for a few days I'm having to pull the straps a little tighter than before, maybe my knee was swollen and I didn't realize and this fixed it or maybe it's stretching, I don't know. If it is stretching I will probably update that later. But right now I can tell you it's a good brace and worth it. ... show more

I bought this based on reviews that said it doesn't slip, but no matter what I wear, and no matter how tight or loose I strap it, it slips when I walk. It's a pain to always have to hike it up or remove and replace it. I also read where it said it had rigid support on the sides. They're plastic and move which doesn't privide the support they should. It looks good, but thats not what is important. I wish I would have returned it. A waste of my money. ... show more

I tore my PCL when my daughters dog decided to bowl me over a few weeks ago, my orthopedic surgeon told me to get a good brace with support but no framing that was comfortable and easy to take on and off, this brace fits the bill perfectly. I wear it all day long and it is really quite comfortable, it supports my knee nicely, making mobility much easier. I have already recommended it to a friend with a knee issue and she gives it a bit thumbs up too! Highly recommended ... show more
