So to start, i bought a Beautyrest cotton down summer blanket about 15 years ago at Walmart, for $25.00! (It's the light Sage colored blanket in the one photo) That blanket has been my most favorite bedding purchase, it's cotton and SUPER SOFT, and lightweight cool enough for the summer and great for the winter with a fuzzy blanket on top... great for year round. After all these years and countless washes, it has lost about 50% of its feathers, so it's incredibly thin, almost like two sheets sewn together. So here I am, trying to replace my most cherished blanket. It's been very difficult. All the cotton down blankets I've found for under $100.00 have been 300 thread count, which is like paper. And all the other ones that are more around my price point are polyester, which seems so hot. So I bought the 300 thread count cotton down blanket on amazon, it was $89.00. I get it, the color is not at all what was pictured and when I touched it it sounded like I was touching tissue paper. I returned it the next day. I came back to this blanket, which was my 1st thought. I bought the pink one because it was only 31.00 on sale. The material is super soft, ALMOSSSSST as soft as my super worn blanket. The stripes are super pretty, the silk trim is so soft, and sewn perfectly ( I saw comments on how it was sewn poorly, not mine). So many negative reviews on quality but I love my new blanket so far. Not sure about the pilling after many washes, I haven't gotten there yet. This blanket is SO much thicker than my old blanket and also a lot warmer, maybe too hot for summer. I find myself kicking it off me while I'm sleeping, hence the polyester. But its so cozy, soft and pretty. And the pink is so pretty. Long story long, I say buy it, it's worth it.

Ok, I’ve always had down comforters. Super thick and ultra snuggly. I purchased FOUR down and down alternative comforters off Amazon with less than pleasing results. All were too hot, not breathable, lumpy etc. i thought weighted blankets were trash. My 98 year old aunt had one we bought her because she had dementia and would wake up in the middle of the night and wander outside, usually naked. That one was heavy enough to keep her in place and comfortable all night. This one is light enough to toss and turn with out feeling trapped. I’m never hot or cold with it on. Easily washed in my old 1970s agitator washing machine. The dogs and cats haven’t been able to penetrate it with their claws or nails. Plus it’s beautiful. I never write reviews and no one will read this one. But if you did, thanks. Overall, it’s heavy enough to feel safe, warm (or cool) and comfortable. It’s not heavy enough to keep your dementia suffering family members in bed so they don’t wander and hurt themselves.

This blanket is so warm and cozy looks great. I washed it and came out wrinkle free and looks amazing. The only thing is I wish it was more breathable. But other than that it's a great buy. I would buy it again especially for those cold nights.

Bought this because I was dying from the sweltering heat of our heavy comforter. I did a lot of research and review reading before purchasing this. It came quick and we love it. Awesome price. We have washed it several times and it seems to be durable. I may order a few other colors to have on hand for spare rooms. It is light, but keeps you warm at the same time. I am a hot sleeper and like a nice 68 degree or cooler room to sleep in and this blanket is perfect for that temp.

Ordered king for queen bed intentionally to cover sideboards. Pictures show what is hanging over edges of mattress on both sides. Liked the quality for price, good weight for warmer temps, added blanket for cooler. Thought maybe product was tagged wrong size, ordered a 2nd one several months later with plan to use 1st on queen guest bed. Same result. Unsure how the width of this comforter would be considered King size. Length, yes. Width no.
