I've only had this blanket for a few nights, and now I'm not sure how I've survived Kansas City winters without one for so many years. I am someone who is almost ALWAYS cold--even with fluffy socks on, my toes are cold inside. This blanket gets me entirely warm whilst I'm reading before I turn in for sleep. I ordered the "full" size, but as you can see on my queen bed, it's more than large enough to cover the entire area where one would be sleeping. The heating element inside doesn't feel too bulky, which is nice, as I had no idea what to expect. My perfect setting seems to be 4 so far. The shearling underside and fleecey upper both feel really nice and I appreciate that they didn't have an odd scent to them when I unpacked it. I only wish it came in a darker color because I have a predominantly white cat, so I'll need to ensure I'm lint brushing it very well and often, and getting down at eye level to see all the fur! Very happy I finally made the jump to purchase this for myself.

Been using this blanket for a few weeks now. It gets very warm nice feeling material. The only downfall is the cord to the blanket is not very long. I put the plug to the blanket at the end of the bed and the cord just barely is long enough to reach the wall so I can't pull the blanket up to the bottom of my neck. I like to snuggle into my blankets.

Size to price is great! Cloth is sooo soft. We live in a very cold climate. I heat bed up prior to going to bed for the night. Heats up fast. I then can reduce to a #1 to sleep all night. I love my husband can pick his own temperature. I definitely would buy again.

The foot of the blanket has to touch the floor in order to get the control and plug to reach the head of the bed. But the control cord is not long enough to go behind the nightstand before being placed on top. The electric plug has enough length but it is attached to the control so it, too, is in plain view. Very unsightly. Also, if the cord comes out from along the bed, it can be a tripping hazard.

Very helpful for women during their menstrual period. Then I sent it to the laundry room to wash it, and it was no problem to use after washing. It is light weight but warm. Highly recommended.
