This can be repositioned multiple times, so no worries there. You can slide it a little laterally with soapy water if only a small section is against the surface, like when you are aligning the top corners first. Mine has some bubbles; it doesn't bother me. You can't see it from 5 ft away and it's not in in high traffic area. you can pop it with an X-acto knife and press down, or you can lift it again and spray with the soapy water. General tips: —measure twice, cut once. Measure multiple points across, top, center, bottom, to check for squareness. Cut it 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller than the glass. if it's too tight, your edges will curl. And you need some opening to squeeze the water out. —add couple of drops of liquid detergent in the water to help with gliding. You can use a cloth, paper towel or spray bottle. —use a squeegee or a credit card, take you time, you can lift it and spray some more solution. Start from the center outward, in a cross pattern, vertical/horizontal, then diagonals. Use light pressure, You can do couple of runs. Don't try to squeeze the water out in one go. You will press too hard and stretch it. The water will evaporate by itself eventually, it's fine to leave some water out. it's ok to have some "bubbles", when the sheet is dried, you can pop it with a blade and press those in. —don't press on the edges/corner too hard or stretch it, it might deform, and those spots will not "stick" anymore. Like in those phone screen protector, where one of those corners is always perking up. ... show more

I didn’t up liking it because it blocked too much! It would be great in a bathroom though. I was going to use it on my front door. I shouldn’t have ordered this pattern. It went on easily and did it’s job!

    • Versatile for glass

I have back-to-back display cases and needed something to fix it so that the contents of one were not visible through the back of the other. In the past I used a spray (much like a spray paint) but the fumes were difficult in an enclosed area. So I searched Amazon for an alternative. This film turned out to be a good solution. Although it was challenging to separate the backing from the film, once I did this was fairly easy. You need to spray water onto the glass (I wasn't expecting that to be required). But after doing that, I was able to apply the backing and press out the air bubbles moderately well. It isn;t perfect but it doesn;t have to be for it to do exactly what it is supposed to do. The backing paper does have cut lines which is a great help for cutting pieces accurately to the right size. I like this and would order again! ... show more

I'm always up for a challenge, and this certainly was one! I deducted 2 stars because of how hard it was to get the backing off! After much frustration, I finally sliced very carefully through the backing on one corner and was then able to separate the two pieces. Ahhh. It went on the glass very easy. At this point, I was so frustrated that I gave up trying to get the air bubbles out. I'm happy with it though. ... show more

My building managers had to seal my windows from the outside with this non-transparent plastic during our heavy California rains. But I ended up really liking how it looked. It let the sunlight in, looked very elegant, and gave me the privacy I hadn't had before. In fact, I never used to open the window shades because our neighbors are so close. Anyway, I started wondering if I could somehow replicate this look with a kind of 'foggy' plastic that would attach to the inside of the window. When I searched on Amazon, I was happily surprised to find that this actually existed! So, I evaluated several different brands, measured my windows and decided on this one. I was very happy I did b/c the it looks beautiful, lets the sunlight in, yet shields my privacy. Awesome! As far as installation goes, I did read a couple of reviews that mentioned tweezers to pull apart the backing, which is what I did and it worked. I just re-used the same sticky 'pull tabs' that were included with the film and it did the job. I bought a spray bottle at the 99c store and pre-cut the film to the exact measurements of the window rather than slicing it off with an exact knife. The width of the film was just slightly smaller than my actual window, so I cut thin strips and 'filled in the small gaps.' It worked perfectly, so now I don't have to worry anyone might see in from the little slits on the sides not covered with film. Really, I can't be happier with my purchase. ... show more

Received today 8/28/23 and immediately started cutting it to size to see how it’d look. It was 2” short for the width of my window in the doors but I already knew it would be. So far it’s sticking in great. Highly recommend using a squeegee like you would to wrap vinyl with, made it much easier.
