  • Good piece of minimalist furniture
Color: Gray Size: Full/Queen
I am only writing this as a rebuttal to reviews that a) complain about pieces not being labeled, and b) took 2 hours to put together. If you fit in those two categories, stay away from Legos. You probably get lost in your own house, seek help immediately. This piece took 30+ min to build. Follow the holes, even though pieces aren't labeled, instructions are clear as day, and I thought they were fairly idiot proof, but alas... just follow the holes, pattern is clearly printed in the booklet. Nice piece of particle board furniture, heavy, stands nice and steady. Nothing fancy, minimalist look to it, which I love. ... show more

  • 45 minutes, easy assembly, heavy but good quality!
I read a lot of reviews so I was a little reluctant on the purchase of this king sized white headboard. However, I am 100% satisfied with the product so I thought I would share my experience. Shipping was faster than anticipated and thankfully no damage done in the process. All parts included and as described, as noted in other reviews no stickers explaining what was what but that was completely ok by me as it was very easy for me to figure out. This was much easier to put together than I thought it would be. It was also build a lot more sturdy and intuitively than others described. I do not think it will fall apart in the future and it could be disassembled if totally necessary. I do not own the matching bed frame that must be purchased separately. I have a homemade 3 drawer shelving unit with a piece of plywood holding up my king sized mattress. It's the purple mattress (don't recommend it but stuck with it) no box spring, sits a bit lower than most beds. This headboard was the perfect height for my situation, I could see others saying its a bit short but my biggest fear, the front board behind the pillow line was safe, it is long enough to keep pillows from falling through the back. That would have ticked me off and I would have had to add some white board below to remedy the prob. The shelfs are slightly weird for the size items I want to store but I am satisfied with them regardless as I have wanted shelfs behind the bed for YEARS now. I even drilled to holes into the bottom of the shelf, one on left and one on right side just big enough for an extension cord, now hubby and I both have power strips for chargers and such. Kudos to the guy who installed an actually power outlet/ box into the unit. I aspire to be that savvy someday. Wood is thick and though its laminate it has a nice finish. Top piece of molding makes it look sharp and not cheap. I do have base boards but mine didn't really get in the way of the headboard against the wall. I liked someones suggestion of using some felt pads to balance out the issue if it was to arise. It took me and my hubs a whopping 45 minutes to put this together! Not bad when I had read others spent up to three hours... not sure how that would even be possible but very happy it was a simple and enjoyable project for us. Directions are lacking in detail but if you have done similar projects I say follow your instincts and be sure to examine what pieces go where prior to assembling. Remember you are building it rough edge up. And that the top of the long piece for the head board as well as the two side pieces will be covered once you add molding at the final steps. I read the entire directions prior to starting and that made the project more clear. Good luck! ... show more

  • Works for what I need
Overall I'm quite happy with this purchase. There are definitely things I would look at differently if I were doing it again but nothing that makes me wish I had bought something else (plus finding the perfect headboard is basically impossible). What I like: * Easy to assemble * Sturdy and appears durable * Plenty of storage * Looks good What I don't love: * Should have looked for something with built-in USB ports. Not a deal breaker but I have cables running all over the place still. * Not quite tall enough for my bed. I added a 4x4 block of wood under each leg and that got it exactly where I needed it but it is annoying to have to do that. * There is a gap between the mattress and the headboard. Because the bedframe does not easily attach to the headboard (there are no obvious places to connect it - I could drill holes in the headboard but would rather not) the mattress tends to slip away from the headboard leaving a space where pillows (and other stuff) can fall. Resolved this with a foam insert that fills the space. ... show more

  • Good quality for the price!
For the longest time I didn't have a headboard on my bed. After thorough comparison between this headboard vs. others, I'm very glad I chose this one. It allows me to store some of the knickknacks I had in my room as well as provide good support for my pillows. The quality is good and assembly was fairly easy. With breaks, it took me and my dad about 2-3 hours to assemble. The color is a nice, bright white, and its width is enough to store most small items comfortably. If you're looking for a pretty headboard at a good price, this one is your best bet. ... show more
