I have thick curly hair and I use a large plum sized dollop to work through my wet hair. I work it in then brush through once and let it dry naturally. It really keeps the curls looking nice. I have naturally loose curls and the humidity is high almost year round where I live. This is the only mousse that works for my hair. I apply it to my hair while it's still damp, I scrunch my curls with my hands, and let it air dry naturally. My curls are soft, not crunchy or sticky. I love this mousse. It works great, however, I ordered the unscented and received the scented. I’m sensitive to fragrance. I ordered the scented once, and it had too much fragrance. So this time I ordered the unscented and received the wrong one.

    • Keep nozzle clean, dry hair after use, use a small amount
Love this stuff for curly hair. Must dry hair a bit after putting in hair though, so that it doesn't crisp up, use a diffuser. And don't use a lot, little goes a long way. Clean the nozzle after every use else it clogs up and won't unclog, then you lose a lot of the product stuck in the can. I use a warm tip to wipe out the nozzle. ... show more

Having curly hair makes it difficult to find a good hair product that doesn't leave my hair crunchy and with white gel-like flakes. This product works wonders for my curly hair by removing frizz and giving a smooth, healthy look to my curls.

    • Curls and leaves hair soft!
I have naturally curly hair and other products either dry it out or leave it crunchy. Its thicker then traditional mousse so I was scared it would make my hair greasy. It doesnt. It leaves it soft and able to still skil a day washing.

What I wanted was volumizing mousse, but I can't find it any more. I thought I would try this even though my hair is straight. It leaves a greasy feeling on my hands when applied and it leaves my hair flat with no fullness or bounce.
