This Intensive Repair serum smells great out of the bottle. I used it in conjunction with the hair mask in the same line, also from Dove, but they each have a unique, distinct scent — the serum has a sweet, cotton-candy bubblegum scent, while the hair mask is more floral-forward. I’ve used a lot of serums in my day, and this is a quality serum for under 10 bucks. With only a couple of pumps, it covered much of my medium-thick, long hair (from mid-length to the tips, not touching the roots). The finish on my hair was left nice and glossy after blow-drying it. It also changed the texture of my hair for the better, smoothing out the couple of unruly fly-aways and stringy ends. It also didn’t leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy, either. In the bottle, though, it didn't look like much, more like viscous water, so I was happy with the end results. However, for whatever reason, the top cap was missing. Fortunately, the product didn’t look used or tampered with, nor was it leaking when it arrived, so it didn’t affect my opinion on the quality of the product.
