This clamp is exactly what I've been looking for! Not only did I want to stabilize my action cam motion shots on motorcycles, but I also wanted the flexibility to set up shots with interesting angles and mounting locations. I travel a lot and ride lots of different bikes, so I needed something that packs small, clamps securely on a wide variety of mounting locations, and offers lots of use case versatility. This clamp does it all, and thensome! I selected this clamp over others for two main reasons: Primarily, the ability to replace a clamp with the threaded mount means this isn't just a one-trick pony; this well thought out accessory that is designed to function as a standalone camera mount, as well as a support clamp. Second, the jaw clamps are super adjustable to attach securely on smaller bars than many other clamp options. So far this durable clamp has accompanied me on multiple adventures, and has bumped around in my saddlebags, tank bag, and checked airline luggage without issue. More importantly, it has performed flawlessly on a wide variety of bikes, on lots of different shapes and sizes of mounting locations, in the dirt, rain, a potholed highways around the world. It's still going strong, doing exactly what I need it to do. I'm super happy with my decision on this clamp!

Im using this to mount a camera and it works great. It’s mostly a plastic material but feels really heavy duty. The textured jaws lock snugly without damaging what you’re clamping to. It also comes with a roll of textured tape to prevent damage and tighten grip around smooth round surfaces.

I have a few clamps and this one just felt a little too big and clunky for me. This clamp is just as stable as my all metal clamps but doesn't feel like it would be because of its plastic my feel. Where this one shines however is that it has a slightly larger bite and is lighter weight than the other one I own. Due to its nylon construction it seems to help with reducing marring on painted metal surfaces and there is a sticky rubber tape that can also be applied to bars so that you can increase grip and reduce marring all together. Due to its design it's really versatile and allows you to have extremely high adjustability. Overall, the price is right and serves as a great lighter weight clamp for a variety of different applications. Usage with a golf umbrella on a camping chair was particularly helpful as it was highly adjustable and provided excellent shade as the sun moved throughout the day.
