I was looking for a cardioid microphone to use with my Rode Filmmaker for YouTube videos. I want a cardioid microphone because it is directional I wanted it to preferably pick-up my voice over background sounds. This mic is directional off the end. Unfortunately the gooseneck it is on is too short to point the mic at you mouth. The other issue is it will not stay up in place and droops down. The mic works electrically with my Filmmaker and the capsule sounds fine when pointed at something you want to record. If the gooseneck was longer, had more girth, and would stay up this would be a winner. The too short and limp gooseneck makes microphone a looser. It is too bad since it could have been a nice product, but It was useless. I sent it back for a refund. ... show more

    • Works with my wireless mic unit AND my busking amp!

I bought this mic because I wanted to busk (street perform) using a small guitar amp which features a mic input. I wanted a mic that would leave my hands free to play guitar, but failed to find a mic that would work because most of the ones I saw need phantom power. My busking amp can't provide phantom power. Finally I saw an affordable wireless lavalier mic outfit, and it worked, but the mic was too far from my face for singing. This mic is the answer to that problem. Can't say anything about the sound quality, but since the amp slings 5 watts, has a 6 inch speaker, and will have to amplify guitar, voice and backing tracks, I don't think that the MIC'S sound quality will be an issue. If you need a good headset mike to use in front of your PC, transmitter or tape recorder, this is the mike for you, at a great price. I never heard of that name brand before, but the quality is clearer and louder than other headset mikes, and better hands down than any hand-held mike I have ever tried. It muffles your "P's" and "S's" to professional voice accuracy, and it is loud enough to use in a transmitter and when recording on your computer or tablet. I read other reviews that say the headset covers or scratches your left ear, but you can easily move it away to put earbuds in your ears, and the headpiece is big enough for people with big heads like me! ... show more

The worm mic lost signal every 5 seconds, the receiver doesn’t have good reception and the microphone headset is too tight; however over all I wasn’t able to use it on PA due to very low signal or poor frecuencia.

Moves around on ears so if you're moving and talking the sound will not be consistent. There is a large piece the mouthpiece goes into and it blocks the hearing of your left ear and is also very hot on the left ear, like an ear muff.

The headset is overall good. It does the job but the quality is not there. Cheaply manufactured. It is a shame since I love Pyle products however over the last 5 years, this company has gone downhill with overall design and quality in their products. Come on PYLE, Do a better job!

A little challenging to hide the wire used to keep the mic in your head, must be more ideal for someone with a HUGE head! I bought this as a prop for performing so I never used it as a mic.
