this car stereo is awesome. Great price. Good sound. AM radio is very important in my country (Argentina). Very easy to install, instructions are very clear. Product support is fantastic, they answer your qustions in the same day. I've request the car logo for booting and they send me the file to update , which was very easy. Apple Car Play works fine, wireless conectios is automatic when you start the vehicle. SD and USB port works very good with sound and video. Well I was skeptical on this headunit based on the price, but when It went on sale for Prime day I pulled the trigger. I was replacing a Pioneer unit that was already installed in my truck when I bought it. I wanted the upgrade of apple CarPlay and a front facing camera. The item arrived neatly boxed with all the components individually bagged. Since I had an aftermarket unit already installation of the new unit was a breeze. Id recommended getting a wiring harness for your specific make and model so you don't have to cut into the factory wiring. Also I'd recommend getting some closed end crimp connector from the wires. It only took be about an hour to install. As for the unit so far I'm impressed. The amount of customizability at the price point is huge. The biggest selling point to me was apple CarPlay wirelessly, it has worked flawlessly so far. It connects faster to my phone than the factory headunit in my other car. I messaged the company to update and get a logo upon booth on the headunit. Within a few house they replied back to me with a file to download and instructions on how to do so. I install the radio over a week ago and for the price is a still. Easy to fallow instructions for wiring. The radio response works great, auto play and android auto install easy to the radio and runs smoothly. I wish that I had more control of customization like my own boot logo and background to the radio like I had with my old radio. . But I contacted the manufacturer and in 5 minutes I got a update for the radio with my Toyota logo. Emailing the manufacturer was easy and direct quick answer and they even email me the directions and video to do the update. The next morning they emailed just to check if everything went smoothly. This stereo absolutely exceeded my expectations for the price. For under $100, you get a feature-packed double DIN unit with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, FM/AM radio, subwoofer output, and even the option to customize the startup logo to display your vehicle brand. It's a really nice touch that makes it feel more high-end. The installation on my 2015 GMC Sierra was surprisingly straightforward. All I needed was a wiring harness and a dash kit (purchased separately), and the setup went smoothly. The included instructions and labeled wiring made the process easy to follow, and within a short time, the unit was installed and working perfectly. Additionally, the backup camera works well and displays a very clear image. Functionality is excellent. The Android Auto connects quickly, the touchscreen is responsive, and the sound output is solid with clear audio and strong volume. The backup camera integration also works as expected. What really impressed me was the bang for the buck. For this price point, it’s hard to find a stereo with this many features that performs so well. On top of that, the company provides excellent customer support. I emailed them with a couple of questions, and they responded quickly, which gave me even more confidence in my purchase. I can give this 3 stars because when it worked it was good. It lasted 4 months unfortunately. Got hot and shut off. It was run through a bunch of diagnostic tests and the radio was bad. I plugged an old radio back up and it worked perfectly. I did like the size of the screen. Only other thing is that it did lag a little bit as soon as you started your car but other than that it was a decent radio. ... show more

    • Carplay works flawlessly, and great features and sound at this price (~$100USD)

This kissound 7" stereo has replaced a name brand stereo that had dsp/time delay, built in cross-over and equalizer, 4v rca out, no volume knob, and carplay that was wireless and wired and did NOT WORK (would reboot often and fail to disconnect leaving stereo running after closing doors.) Replaced it with Kissound 7" with knob and 2 buttons to fix carplay issues and lack of volume knob. While I lost time delay, cross-over, 4ch rca out (this has R+L+SW), and the RCA out seems to be 2v instead of 4v, I'm thinking of buying a few more of these to put in several other cars. Having a vol knob makes a huge difference while driving if you don't have steering wheel controls. The time delay, cross-over, and 2v out can be overcome later with a true DSP like a***son or d**ton audio. Most importantly, the carplay functionality is seamless both wired and wireless. If you need a stable head unit, this one fits the bill at a great price. And has ample line-out power to push oem or lower powered aftermarket speakers.
