I gave this stereo 5 stars because it’s an awesome stereo, especially for the price. The quality of sound is great. I also gave it 5 stars because the customer service is awesome too. I never installed a stereo before and I didn’t have all that I needed to hook it up. I ended up messing up the wire harness that came with the stereo. I emailed customer service and they responded in less than 24 hours. Also, they replaced the harness I messed up. The installation is easy when you have the correct harnesses. If you’re looking for a stereo with great quality sound, nice looking and the ability to add an amp and subwoofer at a good price, this is it. Also, it comes with a camera that has great quality as well. DON’T sleep on this stereo guys.

I had the previous version that had Android Auto only with USB. This one has wireless Android Auto, which is a pretty significant upgrade for me. The radio works great. If you follow the instructions, it's very easy to install. Just make sure you get a bracket that can fit your car. I have a Toyota Corolla 2007 and found the bracket that fits the stereo pretty easily. There are tons of videos that are out there to help you figure out how to remove your console around the radio. I did have issues with my previous stereo, and I messaged their customer support team, and they were very helpful. It's obvious English isn't their first language, but that didn't prevent them from giving me prompt solutions to my problems. If you are looking for a budget stereo that gives you Android Auto in an older model car. I fully recommend this product.

Upgraded iPhone and to ios 26.0x. Carplay would keep disconnecting every couple minutes. Contacted Kissound support and they were responsive. Let me know that the iOS 26.1 was just released and should solve issue. I upgraded and so far so good with Carplay.

I was replacing a two-year old same type of device, different brand, except it did not have Wireless Apple/Android Auto and it started to have problems. Fortunately, all the wiring harnesses were the same except the small one which had 8 pins instead of 6, so I changed the harness, no swear. It looks so much better than the previous model as far as picture quality. The radio sounds clear and puts out better sound than the other. There is no lag and the screen quality looks good. I did purchase another two-year warranty because that saved my bacon on the previous model. The BT connects flawlessly and was no issue.

I mainly bought this because I wanted to add a rear camera to my 2013 Silverado extended cab 1500. BEWARE that the supplied camera cable that comes with the stereo unit is short, and is apparently for a smaller car or SUV. I have tried locating a long (25’) 4 pin camera extension cord, but have not been able to find one with the correct RCA plug w/power wire on one end, and a female 4pin plug with red & black power wires for the led light in the camera, on the other end. The Stereo & Bluetooth options work fine, although the wiring adapter I bought for the plugs had the right rear speaker wired incorrectly. Also, this unit does not function with your factory steering wheel controls. You have to buy a separate steering wheel control module, which it does not tell you in the description. Overall, the stereo & Bluetooth function ok, but the other features I thought I was getting are useless. ***Update on 08/29/25 -After speaking with the customer service, back and forth, at Kissound, they were helpful at providing links to the correct backup camera extension cables, and offering a small credit, so I have updated this review to a satisfactory 3 star review.

No regrets at all with this purchase. My first-ever modern head, and everything has worked flawlessly. It sounds pretty darn good considering the price. I found that direct bluetooth and the radio have a better sound quality than Android Auto. Rear camera works great. If you are looking for a good head at a reasonable price, you really cant go wrong here. Does is sound as good as a name brand $500 system? No but for me, it rocks just fine and installation was very straight forword. Comes with good installation instructions that are written clearly.

Cheap on price and quality of the unit on the outside is good. The software inside is not as great. It does not dim to well at night the unit is really bright even when dim down to the lowest point available. The amplifier isn’t powerful enough my speakers sound like their blown and the there is no bass, mid, treble adjustments. It’s just an adjustable equalizer. 👎🏿

Was pretty simple to install after finding a wiring diagram for my vehicle. Unless you buy a wire harness that fits your specific vehicle you will have to cut the factory harness off. Just connect to the new stereo harness using wago connectors. Bout a 10 minute job. Absolutely love the wireless CarPlay. This is a pretty good value. Time will tell how it holds up but seems to be well built. Fits the double din space in my e450 perfectly! Don’t know if the backup camera is any good, haven’t gotten around to installing it. Will update with pictures when I get around to adding it.
