I see others had the dimple in the handle when using this tilter. I think for the price paid of $83, this thing should be a LOT stronger built than just aluminum tubing. I am modifying mine to use a galvanized pipe handle instead of returning because I really need assistance lifting my 70hp outboard out of the water. CHEAPLY MADE handle for sure.     • Leverage really works.
I have a 25 horse four stroke Yamaha 2015. I bought this tilter to help me lift the motor while in the boat. This works perfect for me, There is about 1/4 inch clearance tight but not damaging. No modifications straight out of the box. I hope this helps I am 73 and this finally Allows me left my motor in shallow water with ease ... show more

I like the concept of this tool. It’s a back saver. I have to agree with the customer posting from June 21st. I used this item for the first time yesterday on my 2016 Yamaha 25HP motor. The handle bent at the base. You may want to consider using a better material for the construction of the handle. I will probably replace it with some galvanized pipe. ... show more

After reading some of the reviews about the handle bending I went ahead and put a wooden dowel in it. I'm 69 and this product is the only way I can lift my 25 hp Yamaha four stroke from inside my 16' boat. It also allows me to adjust it for shallow water running, which for duck hunting is extremely helpful. ... show more
