It is very comfortable and sturdy. It formed to the nape of my neck and kept me from getting a neck cramp while sleeping in a recliner. The cover can be removed and washed. It fits my neck perfectly but, a larger person might want to leave it unsnapped. It will still remain in a permanent position.

I got this for my girlfriend to use while she gets dialysis. She says at first it feels very soft and supportive. However, she said after a while it feels less comfortable because she starts to feel the harder inner core. But she said it still provides better support than nothing at all. She found that it works better on her lower back than around her neck. Thankfully, it is adjustable for many different uses and is satisfactory.

I think it is not comfy enough. Inside there is a stiff bendy thing that prevents the pillow from forming to my neck very comfortably. It may be good for travel though, not in bed.

Been looking for a travel pillow that is not generic. Product is very nice! Comfortable to wear, cloth is soft and smooth, foam perks up once packaging is opened. Tried to sleep on it overnight, pillow's foam puffed back once weight was lifted. Love that you can twist and reshape according to your personal preference.. cover also removable and washable, can eliminate odor from sweats after few uses. Sturdy core, stays in shape. Overall, worth the price!

I have ragged rotator cuffs in my shoulders, grumpy back muscles, and a tendency to bursitis and tendonitis in my arms and above my shoulders. There are nights when finding a sleeping position that makes all these cranky bits calm down is nearly impossible. This device has made going to sleep so, so much easier for me. Thinner and more supportive than an extra pillow, it can tuck under an arm or shoulder blade as needed, often in a different place each night. It should also make a good travel pillow, though I haven't tested it. It is similar in thickness and density to the travel pillow I keep beneath the passenger seat of my car so that a non-driver can snooze, and has the additional feature of shape adjustment. But Pillow, my battered body salutes you every night at bedtime!

The foam itself... it is memory foam, but it doesn't remember much. But that's fine. It's still very comfortable foam. You'll probably mostly use it in a U-shape. I do. And that may make the malleable shape seem like a gimmick, but it's not a gimmick. It's very good. The fact that it holds its shape adds a lot for the support of the pillow, much like what you're hoping a large premium memory foam pillow will do. Once it's behind my head, I press my head into "the spot" to make the armature form to hug my head how I want it. What that spot is, will be slightly different for each person. You'll notice that it still makes a U shape, but with some small differences that are important. Your variant on the U will probably be different from mine, depending on where on your head you place it. And even if used just as the classic U, the armature adds some much-needed support that other travel pillows don't have. I have to use it unfastened, or else I can't get it into the spot that I want. I really wish it was longer; part of the support, at least in how I use it, comes from the shoulders, and it needs more length to utilize that to the fullest potential. I'm glad I saw another of the reviews with images. Kudos to them for warning us that it could break easily. Better not twist it, or bend it too sharply. I notice that the outer surface of the foam gets pulled very tight when the core is bent. That's not a good thing. Hopefully, with some extra care, it will last a good long time. Cutting a sausage comes to mind. When you bend a sausage, bends a little, until the tension overcomes the case, and it splits into two pieces. But if you put many shallow cuts into the sausage, then you can bend it quite a lot without it breaking. Perhaps some day, I'll get a second one, and try putting some shallow cuts in the foam to see if that prevents the foam from snapping apart. Maybe they'll even sell one like that, by the time I come back for another. My experience with the kind of foam that's inside of it, is that you shouldn't expose it to heat and you should keep it away from chemicals. And of course, keep it away from moisture and dirt, because the foam is porous and will trap it inside to become a bio hazard. Little ball joint armatures... assuming that's what this uses, will tend to wear out and get loose after a few years. So, that's another reason to be nice to it. If it doesn't break or wear out too fast, then this may be my pillow of choice for the rest of my life. Unless they make a longer one. Then, I'll buy that one every time I need a new one, and I'll be happy about it. I'm happy that I bought this pillow.
