I've used this pillow in various situations and configurations and it has done its job like a champ. I'm only giving four stars because it can't quite coil into a circle and trying can put some strain on the snap, and because it can't be compressed for packing as much as other travel pillows due to the spine. Other than that, I've used it in a standard configuration for camping, a weird snake-like twist for sleeping on a plane, a cinnamon roll for propping my legs, and just straight as a neck roll. It really does twist around like they show, and it really served me well on a ten day camping trip that included sixteen hour flights and eight hour car rides. It's even my pillow of choice when I visit friends or family where I sleep on a sofa or air mattress. I hesitated to buy it, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it and it's still my go-to for traveling. ... show more

Wow❣️I have compressed disks in my neck and sleeping is hard. I sleep in my recliner and have been using a thin hand towel doubles and rolled up to put under my neck. I have tried other cervical supports and none worked for me. I found this and liked what I read about it and the reviews and decided to try it. It is fabulous! It is soft,yet supports my neck. Update: I am updating my review based on customer service. I’ve updated the stars to 3 as well. Customer service contacted me after I posted my review and I was impressed with the willingness to assist in whatever way they could. This kind of service is rare these days and I appreciate the response and assistance. A good company with a product I could not use. Thanks for that!! I really wanted to like it. I have really bad neck pain because of the arthritis in my vertebrae. I needed something to help with support for my neck while reading, watching tv and car rides. I read the reviews and this sounded like the thing I needed. I loved the idea that it would bend and I could adjust it to fit different areas of my head and neck depending on how I was sitting or lying. Well, I don’t know what people are doing to make this thing work, but it’s the most uncomfortable neck pillow ever. The bar inside is hard and pokes you no matter how you put it. No matter how I bend or adjust this thing it’s hideously uncomfortable. It actually hurts to use it. The idea behind it is great, the actual design is terrible. I have fought with this thing for a week and not once have I found a comfortable way to put it on my neck or the back of my head. Total waste of money and time. ... show more

Super comfy! I loved that I could bend it any way I wanted to get the neck support I needed. I slept for almost 9 hours on my flight to Japan. Slightly inconvenient because it doesn’t pack down very well, but it was the perfect combo of soft and sturdy. Definitely recommend!
