I was surprised at how good the sound is. I was expecting it to be tinny. It sounds quite good for something as cheap and as small as it is. It isnt as loud as some other small speakers I've had but it sure looks a lot better.

I guess we can't expect much for something this small. The volume is low but the sound is clear. Good for an office if you're meeting with new clients. It's a good ice breaker. Something to talk about and it's a slightly louder than my phone and laptop. For me it's a keeper just because of the retro design. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She had it on her wishlist, so that's how I was even aware of it. I was going to get myself one, too, but I first wanted to see just how good it sounded. I charged it up for her & couldn't resist pairing it up to my phone to hear it play also (before I wrapped it). The pairing was easy for a technically inept person like myself. I couldn't believe how well the songs I have on my phone sounded. The volume seemed to depend on my phone volume. I then plugged in a USB jump drive I have with music on it. That's where the bass really came through. The dial on the speaker controlled that. I'm not sure about the replay of the songs on the jumpdrive are...it didn't start at the beginning & maybe it is set up as if on "Shuffle". I was just testing it out so I can't speak to which songs get played & maybe which don't. The directions are too small to read & hubby had to get out a magnifying glass. He said they weren't helpful. He called my phone while it was paired & I could hear him through the speaker. I'm not sure about the other cord that comes with it. I didn't try that out, because I won't ever need that. Maybe it plugs into an older phonograph player or something. This sounds SO good for a little speaker under $20. This little Bluetooth speaker is adorable and it has great sound quality. Unfortunately, when I started using it on a regular basis the charging port wore out. You know that situation where you have to wedge the plug in at a certain angle to get it to connect and charge? Yeah, that's the problem here. I absolutely LOVE this retro speaker! I decided to get the pink color, although it was a tough choice! I would totally recommend getting the pink, it it super aesthetic! It is not too big, which makes it perfect to take anywhere! I will say, it does not have a very loud sound, and does not sound much louder than a normal device, but I personally purchased it as a decoration for my desk, so I didn’t plan on using the speaker feature too much!
