Took me 5 tries to finally get this right. I first went for the expensive kind and my hair was getting pulled out every time I tried to use the straightener. Then I tried this other ones 5 in 1 lopeies curling iron. Tried 2 the part to straighten was not only pulling my hair but I had to squeeze it harder just to get it to straighten my hair. Those were 50 bucks. Then I tried an the airflow 2.0 TYMO, people didn't give to bad reviews on it so I tried it. Again it started to pull out my hair. It hurt. Loved the design of it. It felt nice. But it hurt to much. I have very thick hair, and very long. Then I figured if I'm going to try one night as well try a cheaper one cause the expensive ones were all hype out and no delivery. So finally I gave this one a try. Behold. It works great. Everybody it says it actually does. I don't get burned trying to curl or straighten your hair. The ions it is made with doesn't burn my hair. Leaves it feeling shiny and soft. It says it doesn't pull hair which is great. With all my hair I needed something good and would tame my hair. It comes with a glove a carrying bag for the iron with clips to hold my hair plus a quality comb to part my hair with. For this price and for what it does it was a no brainer. I love this. I finally don't have to return a curling/straightener. Thank you. Worth every dollar. Worth trying and worth buying.

This is an updated review since me and the seller encountered an unfortunate product shipment due to Amazon's fulfillment services. It was handled promptly/with compassion by the seller and here I am 24 hours later with my brand new replacement Dorisilk 500° 1" hair straightener. My driver (idk if its always the same person) is always great too! But anyway, this straightener is AMAZING. I usually do a 4 layer horizontal part from the back up to the crown and straighten in sections of those. This straightener-- i did my very first layer at the nape of my neck and it worked so well that I just let the other three layers down and did a quick "once over" all of it. Took like 3 minutes. Before and after pics are being posted. I used zero product and didnt even use conditioner in my last shower. My hair is beyoonnndd damaged and in need of a 5 inch trim and this straightener has made my hair look so sleek and healthy and somehow thicker? Absolutely worth the 30 bucks!!! 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down best straightener ever! It doesn’t feel cheap at all. It heats up insanely fast. My daughter has true 4c hair and it straightens it and adds amazing shine with 1 pass! And the curls are perfect. Not too big or heavy. I love it. Way better than the $100+ straightener I own.

Straightener heats up so quick I have my hair done in 20 minutes it used to take me longer with the other straightener I had. Just dont put it all the way to 500 it smells like burning rubber only downside of the item.

This is a nice product! I’m mixed with black and white and have long, curly hair. When I wet my hair it is a mess of curls when dry. In humidity it frizzes. I like to wear my hair straight sometimes and found this flat iron easy to use with lots of heat settings to choose from. It came packaged very nicely, instructions clear and precise, beautiful color. My hair straightens quickly using the 320 degree setting. It makes beautiful curls too as I like that for my ends and is easy to maneuver. It glides through my hair. What I found pleasantly different from my old flat iron is that it has protective sides on the end that can get real close to the scalp, particularly the back of ear area without burning.
