It's great looks exactly like the picture and my 5 year old loves it. I was able to fit her toy box and stuffed animals underneath with plenty of room for her to turn it into a little fort. The instructions were beautifully written and super easy to follow. I'm talking full picture diagrams, lists of both hardware and pieces, each step telling you exactly what and how many screws to use for each step. The bed itself is tall enough for forts yet still short enough I can lift my sleeping child into bed if needed (total plus) After this raving review you might be asking why the missing star? Well a couple of the pieces had cracks they don't seem to hurt the structural integrity of the bed but don't look great even had one where some of the paint flaked off. The expert packaging tells me these pieces looked that why when they were put into the box not during shipping definitely. They should check on the quality control team. I have put plenty of beds (along with bunkbeds and lofts) together in my day and this was by far the most difficult to put together. The screws and nuts didn't line up and the screws stripped out of the railings. As far as quality after it's built I am very impressed. It is very sturdy. We have three boys ages 8-3 and they are very rambunctious. The bed doesn't sway or creak when they get in and out of the bed. We used this as a bunk bed for our two younger boys and it's perfect. It probably won't last as a bunk bed forever since it's so low but it servers it's function for now and when we need to upgrade it'll be a great loft bed for one of them. ... show more

First off the packaging was amazing. Everything was labeled. I have OCD so I put everything out as seen in the photo before I put anything together to make sure that nothing is missing, nothing was. The instructions were very clear and concise. When putting the side together with the ladder before you screw K on, which is the bar that holds the rails sturdy in the middle, attach the ladder to the rails which I believe is the next step. This bed is awesome and my 4yo loves it. She has a full foam mattress and it fits nice and snug inside. I love this bed. ... show more

Just put it together today! Relatively easy assembly! Feels super sturdy. Both my husband and I got on the bed with our almost 4yo son. So I’d say weigh is more than mentioned as the limit! Wood feels solid. Only thing is it came with two side stabilizers for the railing and no screw holes were there. We decided to skip them because it felt so sturdy as is. Totally recommend! I was a little surprised when the box came and it was much smaller than I expected (long, skinny box) so I immediately began dreading set up thinking it was going to be 1000 pieces to put together. It isn’t a one person job, but I had 2 teenage kids helping me and this got done in about an hour and a half probably because I have mediocre skills when it comes to setting things up, and I actually put the bottom part on backwards so I had to re do it. Instructions were fairly simple to follow, but it is a two-person job. I'm very satisfied with its build quality and stability. My son loves it. My biggest issues are with the slats. They have dedicated grooves, but are too wobbly unless you screw them down. I don't like that design because I feel like it will weaken the wood and would much rather use a bunky board in addition to the slats. Otherwise, it's solid. ... show more

It took me 2ish hours to put together alone. At first I was a bit confused as which pieces were which because they didn’t come with clear indicators like the stickers with the letter. But the letters were at the ends and most pieces were easy to distinguish.so far it seems very durable and easy to reach my child and put sheets on it.
