This is a great product. All solid wood except for the plywood mattress slats (although it is a soft pine). The headboards had a dent due to shipping and they quickly sent new items. Excellent service on that front (thanks Jordyn). Lots of pieces that took over an hour to assemble but rock solid when done. Tip: Using a variable speed drill with the appropriate Allen wrench bit makes all the difference in assembly time. These are big screws and just using the supplied wrench would make the assembly very tough. ... show more

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because it was missing pieces and had a couple pieces that came damaged BUT I was able to contact manufacturer and get the missing and damaged parts replaced for free. We just had to wait an additional week + Other than that the beds were easy to assemble, I was able to assemble alone. I have not used as bunk beds yet. I rely on reviews when I purchase Inexpensive furniture of this size. So I must say we are extremely happy. Took my husband a day putting it together of course a day with two kids running around and getting in the way so probably alone it would have taken him 4 -5 hours max. It’s very sturdy, looks expensive, the beds can stand alone. I got rubber furniture protectors for the legs so it doesn’t slide at all. The only thing is we need plywood for over the slats. It works fine but I suggest 2 plywoods 36”x70” approximately for under the mattress just so they don’t cave in on ends. I would 100% buy again. I have many good furniture pieces, a sactional, a sleep number bed- some heirlooms- so I believe in owning good furniture. I believe we could disassemble this at least 1 more time to move it to a new home. It was EXTREMELY affordable. For this bed and two mattresses and linens and things for the beds we paid less than $700 on Amazon. The kids LOVE their bed. This bunk bed is BIG enough and sturdy enough for adult guests. 1 on top and 1 on bottom. But for adults you would definitely want the plywood supports and maybe a more solid mattress. We got the 8 inch spring/foam combo linen spa ones from Amazon. It’s perfect for 4-18 year olds. If we ever have a bigger home I would get one of these for the boys room and one for girls room. I received the product and I can assure you the product is of great quality, and worth for your money, I'm writing this review because they were incredibly helpful in resolving my issue, two pieces were faulty maybe during the delivery process., and they immediately refunded and gave me the option of replacing it, I took the refund and might buy from the same company. THE most difficult thing to put together. Comes in a million pieces. Bolts don’t screw on right. Pieces are banged up/chipped from delivery. The finish is cheap and scratches VERY easily. Save the headache and buy something sturdier.

This bed is so cute but when we got it, the container all the little parts came in was broken so we had to figure out what screws went to where and we weren’t able to find all of them. We also had some boards cracked. ** some of the instructions were out of order so try to read ahead so you don’t end up redoing an entire bed again. ... show more
