We already had the loft bed and needed a bed frame for underneath. I ordered this bed frame, it fit the bill great - simple design, low footboard, platform, great price (I got it for $120)!! In the description it said the bed is white. Our loft bed is an off white so I was expecting to paint the new bed frame but its color is more of an off white and it matched our existing bedroom furniture perfectly! It was very easy to put together. The only negative thing is I wish it had more slats so the spacing would be tighter for better support for the foam mattress. I plan to pick up some inexpensive furring strips to add more slats. An easy fix. ... show more

The bed was pretty easy to put together, but we did have some issues with wood chips in the holes that made it a challenge to line up the pieces, but once we discovered that and cleaned out the wood chips, it was a piece of cake. We bought two of these for our 3 year old twins. They’re perfect for toddlers. Low to the ground, which makes it easy for our little ones to climb in and out. They are also cute— they look just as you would expect from the pictures. However, both have already broken in less than a month. The first one broke on day one. Our 7 year old was trying it out and a slat broke. He definitely kind of bounced into the bed, so there was a little more force than gently sitting, but it was far from rough. He also was not jumping or anything like that. It was one bounce and CRACK! Then tonight, my husband gently sat on the bed and it cracked. He’s well under the weight limit for the bed. We fixed them both by making our own replacement says out of extra wood. So overall, the quality is not great. But maybe that’s what you would expect since the beds are relatively inexpensive. If you are handy and able to make your own extra wood slats, this bed could work well for you! If doing something like that is out of the question, then I’d avoid this bed and try to find something more sturdy. ... show more
