This review is for the white metal tabletop, without legs. It is cute. It works. No assembly required. But at almost $82.00, I paid for cute not function. The unit made some frightening-sounding clicking noises for the first hour or so, but then seemed to adjust itself somehow. I took the back off to take a look and saw what the problem was. There is a roller with thick tinfoil strips that create the look of flames when it turns and the light reflects off of them. They were scraping the sides of the unit and a plate. I tried trimming them, but gave up. I do not suggest doing that! I reassembled the unit and turned it back on, prayed about it, and fell asleep. I woke up and the clicking noise was gone. I have PTSD. Being cold triggers body memories of being trapped in the cold. This unit is cheaper than meds and has less side effects. It does what I need it to do, when I need it to do it. This unit is fine as a supplementary heating source, to warm a small area, but it doesn't look like it would last long as a primary heat source. ... show more

Puts out a lot of heat, especially for its size. The "flames" are relaxing. There is a slight thumping noise from the flame mechanism about once every four seconds.

If you turn off the fireplace part the heat won't work either the hole are to small for the nails I feel they charge to much for the white heater need one that stands a little away from the floor it's cute that's it won't to return.

The media could not be loaded. Love the mirror effect, more realistic. Haven't used the heat yet, but it fits well on my bookshelf and will add a great ambiance. Will update in the winter if I'm unsatisfied with its ability to heat my 10'×12' bedroom. Had a very pretty polished look to it. First, this is not very big, but very cute and sturdy. Like the design and quality. I can place this living room when we watch tv and move to the room when we sleeping. this is very helpful when family members have flu symptoms when the air conditioner can not keep giving warmth to the room, it helps a lot. recently we had flu which had very dramatic symptoms, this helped us a lot.
