The machine is awesome and very sturdy. A few things to consider when purchasing- It will be shipped in 9 different boxes. Instructions are hard to read but if you've built lego before you should be good. When assembling, make sure you pay attention to all the ways the bars are facing before moving to the next step. You dont want to get halfway through and realize one of the support bars are facing the wrong way. It will take about 5 hours to assemble. The Fully chords are the hardest to assemble but make sure you line them out straight when assembling so you dont have future twists. The pulleys are made cheaply. This machine doesnt come with grease so look at investing in some if you want a smoth pull. Overall, well worth the investment! Good luck ... show more

I’ve been very impressed with this machine from start to finish. Assembly was estimated at 10-15 hours, but I don’t think it even took me 10. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated that the manual was placed right on top in Box 1, it made getting started simple and organized. The unit arrived in 9 well-packed packages. Once assembled, the first thing you notice is how solid and well-built this machine is. Everything feels sturdy and stable, with no wobble. Carriage bolts and aircraft nuts - yeah, they didn’t cut corners on this thing. It’s clear this is a high-quality piece of equipment. I also reached out to the company to request a PDF version of the manual and received a response the same day. Customer service was excellent, quick and helpful, which is always a big plus. I’ve been using the DONOW Smith Machine (DN-DS938B) for a bit now and I’m really happy with it. It feels super solid and stable—even when lifting heavier—and doesn’t feel cheap at all. What I like most is how much you can do with it. It’s basically a full gym in one machine—Smith bar, cables, pull-ups, everything. Saves a ton of space and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything from a regular gym. The cables are smooth, the bar moves nicely, and the safety features make it great for working out alone. Update: The seller reached out after I raised my concerns and was able to send the correct replacement pieces, which fit perfectly. My best assumption is that one of the boxes was switched at the warehouse prior to delivery, which caused the mismatch. The item arrives in eight separate boxes, so I can understand how that could happen. Despite the initial frustration, I’ve now used the equipment 5+ times in the past week and I’m really enjoying the purchase. Thank you to the DONOW team for the quick follow-up and mitigation support. Original issue: Several top-frame pieces (#3, #4, #5, #6 on both sides) did not align correctly — welds and hole placements were off by roughly 0.5–1 inch, and assembly would have required drilling new holes or fabricating spacers. Bought this so I didn’t have to go to the gym and could just go into my garage when it was convenient since I work from home. The whole family has been using it. I’ve been working out for more than 30 years and am not looking to see how much I can lift I just wanted a way to do many different things without a bunch of dumbbells all over the place. I think this is very well built, sure not commercial grade but very solid. I’m pretty handy and have put together many things over the years and this one wasn’t really that hard. It took patience and cross referencing both the manual and Amazon video. I made the mistake of not seeing that they offered the same model with upgraded pulleys for like $100 more. The plastic pulleys aren’t that bad but I got the upgraded aluminum ones and they are noticeably better. I also replaced the ‘O’ shaped locking hooks with carabiners but that’s a personal preference. We couldn’t be happier with the Donow system and I think it’s quite a bargain for what you get. ... show more

So when I first received this machine I had some issues with the deliver and missing parts due to the box being torn by deliver company. But I wrote customer service and they sent me the parts right away and made it right. So I really appreciate the customer service. They actually write back and seem to care which is awesome. Not I’ve had this machine and have actually been using it now for over a month. Overall, I gotta say this machine works flawlessly. The functional trainer, pulleys, and cord work perfect no issues at all. And the math machine is smooth. I’m not gonna lie this machine works way better than I expected. This is probably the best purchase that I’ve made from Amazon. And this company there machine is legit I love it. And the attachments that come with it are really good quality as well. So overall I gotta say the machines is awesome. Customer service and functionally are a win for me. Thank you for fixing all my issues and responding fast. Totally appreciate it. ... show more
