The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated that the manual was placed right on top in Box 1, it made getting started simple and organized. The unit arrived in 9 well-packed packages. Once assembled, the first thing you notice is how solid and well-built this machine is. Everything feels sturdy and stable, with no wobble. Carriage bolts and aircraft nuts - yeah, they didn’t cut corners on this thing. It’s clear this is a high-quality piece of equipment. I’ve been using the DONOW Smith Machine (DN-DS938B) for a bit now and I’m really happy with it. It feels super solid and stable—even when lifting heavier—and doesn’t feel cheap at all. What I like most is how much you can do with it. It’s basically a full gym in one machine—Smith bar, cables, pull-ups, everything. Saves a ton of space and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything from a regular gym. The cables are smooth, the bar moves nicely, and the safety features make it great for working out alone. The media could not be loaded. Great machine for the money. Me and my wife are loving this setup, so many different work out possibilities. The pulley system does have a decent amount of drag but I can’t really complain at this price point. Also, I am already maxing out the 160lbs plate stack doing back workouts. This is bc the 2:1 pulley ratio. At the time I didn’t know there was a difference. If I would’ve known this I would’ve bought the more expensive model w/ the metal plates bc that version is a 1:1 pulley ratio. The machine was easy to assemble. So when I first received this machine I had some issues with the deliver and missing parts due to the box being torn by deliver company. But I wrote customer service and they sent me the parts right away and made it right. So I really appreciate the customer service. They actually write back and seem to care which is awesome. Not I’ve had this machine and have actually been using it now for over a month. Overall, I gotta say this machine works flawlessly. The functional trainer, pulleys, and cord work perfect no issues at all. And the math machine is smooth. I’m not gonna lie this machine works way better than I expected. This is probably the best purchase that I’ve made from Amazon. And this company there machine is legit I love it. And the attachments that come with it are really good quality as well. Great machine for beginners, Highlights -Like the cable machine and attachments however it isn’t as smooth as I expected. -You have the ability to do most workout, however I’m not so sure about the free weights attachment that hold the barbell; the hooks are wobbly and the spotter arms aren’t really useful they are too short. -smith machine is ok; I dislike the fact that it rubs against the bar when you unhook it. - quality isn’t the best one of the holes weren’t cut out as seen on the picture ... show more

Very happy with the DONOW gym. Was some work putting together but not that bad. Had an issue with a part that was replaced in just a few days. I also upgraded to the aluminum pulleys, I love the way they look and they are very smooth.
