I went back to regular hickory drumsticks. The hickory grain is more aggressive than maple and therefore less slippery. Using these, while they look cool (and fondly remind me of the Billy Baroo putter from Caddyshack), they tend to zing out of my hands easier than others because of how smooth they are. It could be user error but I don't have the same issue with standard hickory sticks.

Got these to replace some old sticks that the kids just destroyed in a matter of days. Price was right and the storage bag was good to keep them from being lost. They're taking a beating currently and are fairly dented but haven't split or snapped yet.. I'd say its pretty good for lightweight sticks. I had higher hopes for the storage/carry bag. I have to remove it from hanging off the set each time I need to fish out the sticks. Should've gotten a hard case holder I suppose...

I got these as a gift for my 12 year old nephew. He wants to learn to play drums so I paired these with an electronic drum pad set. They seem to be standard sticks and appear to be well made. Definitely good for a beginner. Not sure if they’d be professional quality but they work for our needs.
