I’m replacing all the blinds in my RV to these. Let’s start with my pros and cons. Pros: easy to install, blocks out all light from penetrating the curtain fabric, pretty quiet (it is a motor so you can hear it a lil but very lil), runs smoothly up or down, valence covers the frame and curtain roller. Seems well made and sturdy. Cons: instructions cover single remote (or single button on the optional 15 remote) programming. Through trial and error I figured out how to have one shade down/up at a time and all down/up at once. If you have different height windows, as most RV’s do, program the upper and lower stops with the remote it comes with for that particular shade first, then pair the remote you want to operate all the blinds but do not reprogram the upper and lower limit with this remote. This way the upper and lower stops will still be set. Second con is that the supplied single function remote feels a touch lax on fit and finish. There is slight gap from the from face and the housing. Also the remote doesn’t have any form of indexing to know which way is to raise or lower without looking super close at the front or, as I did, I looked at which end the tiny screw is located on the back. Screw end is down. I just made it easier by putting a small circle with a sharpie on the top to know quickly. Overall I am quite happy with these. The price is quite reasonable especially when compared to other brands that do the same thing. I have not installed the solar panels yet where I want to see how long they go before charging is needed. So far after a week, they are still going strong on whatever charge they had from the factory Edit: the remote that comes with it and the instructions were for the single remote. I received the 15 function remote today and it has “00” channel that operates all at once and the instructions were super clear. I’m super happy with these blinds. ... show more

    • Good Purchase👍🏾 Battery Life Lasts A Couple Months

I had to wait a few months before I could give a proper review. I use my motorized blinds twice a day and I intentionally didn't charge it daily just so I could see how long the battery life lasts before it dies since I saw no reviews or product details on the battery-life and how long it needs to charge or how long it can last. The battery life for these specific blinds died after 2 months of everyday use. Once I plugged in the solar panel c-port into the plug on the blinds, the blinds needed a good 24hrs charge before my remote could operate them again. *Note: My phone charger c-port didn't work for these blinds so I think these are only able to work with the solar panel c-port plug.* Don't worry about the placement of the solar panel plug, just place it on the upper left or right side of the window and make sure the location of the window is in an area that can get sunlight. Also, the blinds was easy installation once I looked up some YouTube videos. The instructions were not very clear so hopefully they can update the instruction guide in the future.     • WIFI BRIDGE!

Many others didn’t get how to use the wifi bridge, and understandably so. Effectively it is a remote control (similar to the kinda janky thing they provided to make the blinds go up and down) but this is an IR wifi bridge, so you can link it to Tuya fairly easily. To use : -Install TUYA on your phone/tablet. -Go through the standard remote install and configuration, and ‘quick matching’. If you’re like me in my situation, charge it first for a little while as my unit was dead. (Fast flashes means it’s dead!) -once complete with the stops at top and bottom, get the wifi bridge and plug in to a standard USB brick. -open the Tuya app, and go to add. Then press and hold for 2 seconds the power button on the bridge. -in my case, the device was automatically picked up. It started the pairing process and then brought me to a window to use it as an RF bridge. -it then tried some RF/IR codes and quickly picked up the right device. ... show more

    • Affordable and works well. But not very straight forward to program.

Was pretty ease to install and instructions fairly clear. If you want to use with Google Home or Alexa, you also need to purchase the usb wifi bridge dongle. Works well with my Google Home and I can now control my automatic shades with my voice. First, you need to plug the USB into a power source (like the plug you use for a phone charging cable). Once plugged in, press and hold the power button on the dongle until the light blinks. Then open you app like Tuya or I use Feit and add a new device. After you put in the wifi, you'll see direction prompts on your phone on what to do next to connect your blinds. I had to press the button on mine for like 2 seconds for the roller to quickly roll forward and backward a smidge. Then keep holding your phone to the blind and wait for that movement in the blinds again. Select the button in the app that the blinds moved and now it should be paired. Next you need to go into your Google Home or Alexa app and also add the device in there. Once everything is updated you should be good to go! Also pretty easy to adjust how far down or up to go (requires getting into the admin mode in the remote).     • Great motorized blackout blinds, but poor instructions

For the price you won’t find a better motorized blackout blind! The installation was fairly easy, but the instructions were poor and incomplete. I had to figure out on my own how to attach the trim panel. But aside from that, would recommend!

    • Great, until they weren’t.

It took some effort to get these installed. We needed two to fit the wide span of our window. They were great—until one of them stopped working just 2 weeks later. We thought maybe it just wasn’t getting enough sunlight, but it wouldn’t even operate after being plugged into an outlet. In the end, customer service could not replace the broken blind, and so we ended up having to reinstall both of them, wrap them both up in bubble wrap and send them both back. Extremely frustrating. Decided we are just fine with black out blinds you have to roll up and down manually. ... show more
