We purchased this bed for my son 4 years ago (when he was 5) and it has held up very well. We just purchased a second one for his sister as she's always envied his cool slide bed. Only downside is the tent panels don't stay up well with the provided velcro strips but I swapped them for new ones.

The bed came packaged very well, with no broken or missing pieces. As stated in a previous review, none of the pieces are labeled so it took a little bit for us to sort them out and get them in the right spot. It wasn't that difficult to assemble and took us a little less than 2 hours. I would've given it 5 stars but the pieces weren't labeled, the ladder is to hard for my 4 yr old to climb (she uses the slide to get up and down), and we had to file the white part of the slide down so it would fit on the bed. ... show more

Although not as dramatic a cure all for a "bad sleeper" grandchild as some have said, it has alleviated the problem immensely! Good construction, shipped well. One tip - she had some fear of the dark type stuff when first going under it. she goes into blanket and chair caves and like that but for some reason that seemed too dark to her at first. bought a small, solid balanced, battery camp light and all is well now. ... show more

Overall I think it is a great value for the money. There were small minor dings in some pieces out of the box but nothing major and no major issues. It was missing 2 of the curtain panels and the manufacturer sent them out to me at no cost. My daughter LOVES it. It seems sturdy. The only issue that is annoying is that the curtains are velcro and don't stay on well. I think I need to just buy more velcro and that will fix the issue. ... show more
