I use these for supplemental lights for a grow tent for the bottom area of the plant. Be aware that the first two settings are only 40 watt but it's still more than enough to get done what needs to be done. The 40 watt settings at least do not contribute any heat but the 80 watt does create some heat. Not enough to be a problem as long as you have good air circulation. ... show more

They are easy to attach to a rolling rack and work just as advertised. My plants are responding well to them. I like that each individual light can be turned off or on as needed. They are all, however, controlled by one central timer.

    • Seem to be making my plants happy, but a couple things

These lights arrived pretty quickly and work very well with the wire shelving unit I am using for my indoor plants. My plants are growing really well with these and the timer is functioning correctly making it easy to keep the light even. The 3 light modes are great as you can adjust the spectrum according to what you are trying to accomplish. However, a couple things you might want to know... I almost didn't order these because the description said they were 2 feet in length, 24 inches. If the lights were really that wide they wouldn't have worked properly with my shelving unit which is exactly 24 inches wide. I ordered them anyway and guess what? They aren't 24 inches wide, they are 16.5 inches wide from the edge of one hanging bracket to the other and the light itself is about 15 inches wide. The plastic hanging brackets at the ends of the lights work well, but they drop the light down a full 2 inches. If you want something flat against a ceiling or shelf these won't do. I was hoping the cords would be different lengths for maximum adjustability, but all lights have cords which are the same length - somewhere around 42". That still offers a pretty broad spacing distance if you place the controller in the center. You can individually turn each light on or off, BUT you cannot individually control each light's settings (LED spectrum, timer). The settings are global for all the lights you have switched on. There were not really any instructions on how to set up the timer so it took me a couple tries to guess it right, but once set up it seems fine. ALSO, one of the lights was dead on arrival. I made the mistake of mounting the whole kit to my shelves before testing the lights. DON'T DO THAT. Test the lights before you put them up. The company sent me a replacement with no hassle so I can't ding the lights too much for that except it was a little added effort. ... show more

the lights are everything they are supposed to be...some of the leds burned out after about 3 months...when i contacted the seller..OMG, absolutely amazing, very quick call back (from caller id only, i didnt leave a message) and service, second to none, i sent a few pictures in and by the NEXT day my replacements were delivered...i would definitely recommend this seller i was not compensated or requested to make this review...its all legit ... show more

I bought 4 of these sets of 4 grow lights. It says on this listing it had a 1 year warranty. Almost all of these lights have stopped working. Only partial lights. All are under one year old. Company does not respond to me. Amazon wont help with this seller. $200.00 for these lights. Amazon offered to give me 50.00 but they never did. Don’t buy from this company! I’m moving away from Amazon too. Customer service is not what it used to be. ... show more

I was really excited about these grow light bars, because having installed them under my stairs, they made a nice, even pool of light for a group of my indoor plants and the plants seemed to be doing well. Very unfortunately, after 5 months of daily use, sections of LEDs started flickering on and off. Not long after they started flickering they burned out altogether. While they're not terribly expensive, for something that cost almost $60 (or $15 per bar) I expect them to last for more than a few months! I'll be throwing them in the trash where they belong before my plants are left completely in the dark, and replacing them with Sansi grow light pucks. *** Edit *** Tracey from Dommia contacted me about my review, saying how sorry she was that the lights started to fail. They have a year warranty, so she offered me a replacement or full refund for the lights. While I really like the style of these light bars I had already replaced them with a different brand, so I opted for the refund. Since I'm impressed that Dommia reached out to me about their warranty, I'm giving them 3 stars instead of my original 2. ... show more
