Super System! I wouldnt say it was a breeze to put up but once the concrete is done with the base - it took about an hour or two which is must better than other stories I have heard for other hoops. You must have at least two people. The big issue now - as you can mainly see from the picture - is finding a yard guard net so we aren't constantly chasing the ball! The manufacturer was super helpful but did not know of any that are compatible. As much as I like this hoop - If you will need a yard guard I would buy a different set up from another manufacturer and I am disappointed they dont offer one. ... show more

Overall the process of putting this hoop up was super easy. Outside of digging the hole and concrete (all systems require that), it took 3 of us 45 minutes to put up and ready for playing.

The Dominator basketball goal is all aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase! I don’t write a lot of reviews, but the service and quality of this company and product were fantastic. I contacted the company and they were very helpful and were very easy to work with. The materials are very high quality. The setup is super easy! My 13 year old boy and I were able to put both hoops in about an hour and a half from start to finish. The system to raise and lower the hoops is super easy, my 7 and 8 year old have no problem raising and lowering it. The other nice thing is when you raise and lower this backboard it is in the same plane as if it were at 10’, so all the lines on the court are in proper spacing. If you have young kids that are playing at a lower height, the free throw line is still the correct distance from the rim. I would highly recommend these basketball hoops! ... show more

This hoop does cost more, however you are getting a very high quality product that looks like it will last a lifetime. Every piece and part is top quality. The mechanics of raising and lower the hoop are smooth and well built. I highly recommend this hoop if it’s in your budget.
