Great heater. Heats up to the desired and easy to adjust to 78 deg. Perfect for my betta, he loved it. Only problem is it instantly grew some fungus or algea all over it. And could not get it out of my tank. Biweekly cleanings didnt keep it under control. Defn clean it thoroughly repeatedly prior to use, not just once. Or test it on its own to make sure its clean!!! ... show more

Everything is perfect. It works well. Doesn't make the temperature go back and forth. So it has a good thermostat! When it clicks on and off, the click is audible. It's honestly the loudest I've heard from a fish tank heater, but not loud by any means. There's even a solution if you're a perfectionist. Just have the water a tiny bit over the bottom of the red knob, that controls the temperature. It seems to silence the click, funny! Used in an 8 gallon and it does wonders with being able to adjust the heater. ... show more
