The seller contacted me very quickly after ordering to make sure they had all the information needed to deliver this pergola. The pergola was delivered in 4 boxes, and they are all very heavy, so I recommend being prepared for the delivery. Individual parts are easily manageable by one person, but some of the parts can be awkward to balance while assembling, and there are some steps where 2 or more people would be required, so I recommend having at least 2 people to complete the assembly. All the parts were well packed and protected for shipment. The pieces were individually wrapped in a foam-like wrap to keep them from being scratched. There were extra parts for almost everything in the kit, in case something gets dropped, lost, or broken during assembly. They do include all the needed tools for assembly, but I recommend having your own tools as the ones provided are very basic and small. The screwdriver, for example, was only a few inches long and may not offer enough grip to get the screws installed. Attaching the louvers involved 4 screws each (50 louvers = 200 screws), so I recommend a power screwdriver or drill/driver to install those. I used a battery powered drill/driver with torque limiter to prevent over tightening and it worked well. I was able to complete the assembly with one helper in about a day with frequent breaks for water due to the heat. I estimate probably about 4-5 hours overall. The overall quality of the pergola is excellent. Parts fit together well. The alignment of parts was good. I like the design and so far we are very happy with the pergola. One thing I do find a bit awkward is the zippers that connect the netting parts together, as they start from the top. I am 5'11" and I need to reach up pretty high to get the zippers to mate and begin zipping them together.

I bought mine directly from the manufacturer, who was running a sale (normally Amazon has the better price). I had the support posts cut 6 inches by a local welder so I could fit it under the eaves of my rancher and set it close to the house. The product was packed well, but there was one dent in the main frame. One of the louvers was badly dented to the point it's not usable, but they give you an extra. Installation wasn't too bad; there were 3 of us (2 handy guys and handy female me) and we had the main frame up and half dozen of the louvers done in about 6 hours. The next day I installed all the remaining louvers in about another 4+ hours. Louver installation is a bit tedious; do yourself a big, big favor and buy a flexible drill bit extension. It more than halves the time it takes to screw the louver h/w together. I'm happy with the results, but of course the mosquito netting is now a little too long because of the shortened posts :D The frame is not quite as sturdy as the appearance of the posts would have you believe, but I think it is good enough once it is screwed into the concrete. It was a couple of weeks before we had any rain and... I was a bit disappointed in the results. The louvers themselves are great - no leaks there. But the middle channel does not catch all the drips so everything under that got wet. I did find something at the hardware store though that seemed to fix it for the moderate rain we had today. The product is "F-channel" siding trim (I bought mine at Home Depot). That trim was easy to cut to size using a small hacksaw and snapped right onto either side of the middle channel like it was designed to do that. It did seem to catch almost all of the extra drips. It's the white piece on the second picture taken right after I installed on one side (I may consider spray painting it brown so it will match ^_^) So... not a perfect product, but good results were ultimately obtained and you just can't beat the price when you compare it to other louvered pergola options. I would buy it again.
