  • Back porch life GREATLY improved…
Material Type: Steel Roof Size: 12' x 14' Gazebo
I love everything about this shed-roof gazebo. For my needs, it is such an improvement for my home setup. At the back of the house, is my bedroom, with a set of French doors which lead out to a 15’ x 15’ deck. I recently was forced to replace those French doors due to rot from the rain splattering the deck and splashing onto the back of the house & deck. Now, I can walk out the back & into a covered deck. I bought the 12 x 14’ gazebo & this unit covers the entire space perfectly. Now, no water at all hits the back outside wall, nor does it hit the French doors. This means no more water issues or damage.. This was a great purchase! The instructions are as most reviews describe. We were able to get the job done, after several days of intermittent sessions. All the parts were there, the quality is good. This product is solid & it looks good, not cheap. ... show more

  • Sturdy and no leaks.
Material Type: Steel Roof Size: 10' x 12' Gazebo
This is my second wall mounted gazebo. The first one had a polycarbonate roof which only lasted about 5 years and started cracking. The replacement panels are very expensive due to the odd dimensions so I opted for a replacement. I wasn’t going to buy another gazebo with a poly roof so this one fit my needs. Installation was a bit more work due to all the roof panels and bolts but it was definitely worth the extra hassle. I found a socket for those nuts and used my drill with a low speed to make installation faster. The manual and parts are well organized to facilitate the installation process. The build quality seems good and after quite a bit of rain, there haven’t been any leaks. Snow season will be coming soon so I’ll see how the roof weathers with a load using the supplied props. Overall, I’m happy with my investment to date and hopefully it’ll give me many years of shelter. ... show more

  • So far so Good
Material Type: Steel Roof Size: 12' x 14' Gazebo
I bought this in February and am just now getting to putting it together. I started assembling parts and right of the get go first page and one of the support brackets from the corner pole to the roof was must have moved in the Jig because it wasn't straight and one hole is about 1/4 " out of alignment. I sent them an email and requested the part. They got right back to me and asked for an order number. They haven't gotten back to me yet but it was only a day age so no big deal. Everything else is going together well other than that. The directions are easy to follow and well drawn out. I have put a ton of Ika things and this is similar. I will update upon completion. And people complaining that it is flimsy I disagree with. It is designed well and is a sturdy build. Update Domi was great with shipping me the damaged part and it arrived quickly. From reporting the part to arriving was a little over a week. Not bad at all. The build is sturdy and went up well. I was able to assemble this by myself. It is quite easy to do alone. You just have to do it a little differently than the directions show but doable. One day to assemble all the parts in garage and two and a half days to put it together. It could have easily been done in two days if it wasn't nearly 90 degrees out and I wasn't 71 years old. But alas I am old. Like I said it is very sturdy and looks nice. • Very nice and well made
Material Type: Steel Roof Size: 10' x 12' Sunroom
Good quality, instructions are pretty good-only pictures, no written instructions. I would highly suggest 4 people for the initial frame build, but then its smooth sailing for 2 people to complete. The removeable windows are on the outside, and they are a perfect fit! (Some videos show on the inside, I think those are all larger models) It's a lot work with the small wrench they send with it, make sure your drill is handy with a few different size bits. Very happy with the completed sunroom, although I had some choice words for it during the process, lol! ... show more

  • PLEASANT SURPRISE W/FIRST YEAR UPDATE
Material Type: Steel Roof Size: 12' x 16' Sunroom
We have enjoyed this sunroom from the moment we mounted the frame. Our pleasure with it increased as we continued the build and finally furnished it. As we really saw it was as we imagined it to be in our space. We have a 16x12 and believe it to be the best size, given we have a 10x12 gazebo of the same construction as a frame of reference. The material and craftsmanship are excellent for the price point. The company was fantastic to work with. We encountered two damaged pieces in the entire package, and they quickly resolved our issues. The build took us two and a half days, as my labor force was dynamic. The first day, we built the frame and temp-tacked it to the deck for stability. The next day, we built and installed the walls. On the 3rd day, we moved it to its permanent position on the deck and secured it accordingly to the deck and house. My family and friends refer to it as the living room, even though we have an actual living room. not shown in the pictures is the completed furnishing. It allows us to have a three-person couch, a love seat, two swivel chairs, two ottomans, three side tables, two corner shelves, two floor lamps, and a 50" TV, and still not be crowded. The picture provided shows some initial furniture staging as we figured out placement. I will add more of the final placement so you have a better frame of reference for your plans. Build tips: - Follow the book for the frame and roof install. It is great! - Build all walls laying flat and then secure them to the frame. It's easier to manage the screws and screwdriver, and it's faster. - Hang the doors last. - Ensure the flashing provided is sealed to prevent leaks down the back wall. - Buy a large tube of silicone and use it liberally where indicated in the instructions; the amount provided is insufficient for my comfort. So, points of clarification: You may see some leantos that resemble this design, featuring sliding windows and clear glass. They are not available in 12x16. They are available in specific sizes that I no longer recall. The windows in the 12x16 are removable from the outside and expose in-place screens when removed. We have preferred the blurry privacy glass that are the windows, as it is comfortable at night and helps contain firepit heat on chilly days. The roof is made of metal and a dark color, so it will absorb heat from direct sunshine in the warm months. Consider that and how you plan to address or mitigate it. We are looking to mount two oscillating fans on the house and see how that works. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase and the pairing of our open-air gazebo with the same style. Between my wife waking early on weekends to enjoy some alone time, to my daughter and me competing for evenings to use it with friends, it has proven our best spring project to date! The "living room" has extended our enclosed space and provides another space for "indoor/outdoor" entertaining. Next week, I will assist a buddy in building his, as he has enjoyed many nights in mine and now wants his own! We do live in SE Michigan, and I will update you on how it holds up to the winter, once we experience one. I do enjoy downpours on the metal roof with a cigar, a shot of whiskey, and a wee bit of jazz, or a nap! Update 03/29/26: It's been one year. We have completed our first SE Michigan winter with the sunroom, and it performed remarkably well. There was plenty of snow after a 10-inch snowstorm; I remembered the support posts which I had presized during the build process after the snow fell. When I installed them, they lifted my ceiling in the middle by an inch or so. I turned on my Ninja Firepit, turned on a movie, and enjoyed the day in. The ceiling did sweat for obvious reasons, the snow melted, the pressure on the poles relaxed, and I left them there for the rest of the snow season. They were not an inconvenience, and we enjoyed our first winter with the Domi Sunroom. BTW, we used the sunroom all winter with the Ninja propane firepit as a heat source. It kept the temps in the low to high 60's on the coldest winter days with a plastic lining, and in the 50's without it when the temps were in the single digits. As an added share: It survived a day of wind gusts of over 60 MPH without issue as I smoked cigars and napped - ensure you secure it to your home and patio! ... show more
