4/20/25 Edit: The roof leaks. It isn't going to hold water out, but it will at least keep snow and hail away. I blame the blatant lack of flashing tape, and horrid instructions of how to apply it. Spend more money get more product I'm sure - but for what this costs vs what is is, I still recommend it. So far 5 stars. We'll see after it gets a workout from the weather. It comes in 3 boxes, and they weigh a boat load, so make sure you're prepared for that. Mine just happened to arrive one day before the flooding monsoons, so keep a tarp handy lol When you start playing with the flashing tape, beware - they've got every roof sheet coated in some thin plastic film. There's no turning back once you put that on. Pros: * It's made of metal, has metal roof. * Goes together pretty easy once you figure out the instructions * Holes are mostly pre-drilled, just make sure you've got it as level as you can get it or they won't line up. * I think they actually put in a few extra screws and bolts with mine - Good job! Cons: * Got a bit of sway to it so make sure you take a few extra custom steps to anchor it down and firm it up. * WHOLE lotta lift going on in the wind so make dern good and sure it's anchored down securely and firmly * I Can't stress anchoring enough, the day I was finishing it up it decided it needed to get windy AF and the thing was trying to take a walk on me. * HEAVY dang thing, I managed to do it myself, but I'm a moose. Make sure you've got some buddies handy when it's time to put the legs on. Three is a team. * Doesn't come with enough sealing tape, I was 3 panels shy.

Had to contact customer service to get a few replacement rails that were bent, talked to Cherry and sent some photos and rails were shipped within 2 days. Great customer service! Very likely going to purchase another one, will certainly purchase from same company

By far the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever had to try to put together and once it was all together first rain leaked in about 10 different places I used all they had adhesive tape all the screws have it on a pad level and now it leaks it’s useless and there is no help from Amazon I ordered it took three weeks to get here. I was not home and I put it up and they said I couldn’t return it although it would be hard to get it all back in the box very heavy. They did not say anything about the plastic coating. You have to try to remove it before you put it on on the roof sections, but it’s not next to impossible to do because it’s stuck on there so hard Never buy this product terrible. I’m second-guessing my Amazon prime account.

My true rating is 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up. To be fair, this is a nice carport my two siblings and I gave our dad for father's day. He had an old canvas one but it was way past time to replace it, and he's been wanting one of these for a while now. So why 3.5 stars? My biggest complaint is there were at least two dozen pilot holes that were not in the struts and supports. So we had to drill our own and ended up breaking two drill bits in the process. That very likely could have been our fault but had the holes been there in the first place, I wouldn't be complaining about it. The poor quality control resulted in this being a six hour job from start to finish for three adults. Second issue... And it's probably just a personal thing... The majority of bolts are of the Allen wrench variety. Anyone else think that was the worst invention ever? I'm sure there's a good reason for those stupid things to exist but I have yet to find one. Might be time to write this Allen person a strongly worded letter. Overall, this carport is... decent. It does look nice once we finally got it done and the 12x20 is a good size with ample room on either side of a vehicle. Didn't realize how bothered I could be by a dip in QC though. If the manufacturer can improve here, I'd have happily committed to another star in my rating.

This carport has several significant flaws. The assembly process is unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming. The design is problematic, as the roof is disproportionately large for the small, weak tube framing. The parts are small and separated, likely to minimize shipping costs, but this compromises the structure’s stability. The tubes are flimsy and unstable, causing the carport to shake and produce noise even in light wind. Additionally, returning the item is costly due to its size. I cannot recommend this product due to its poor design and quality.

I recently purchased this carport to protect my truck, and I couldn’t be happier. The galvanized steel frame is incredibly sturdy and withstands the wind with ease. We've had a few storms, and it stayed firmly in place. I also love the high-peak roof design – it gives me plenty of room for my truck and other items.
