I bought these radios on a whim, and thought they probably aren't going to be as good as advertised. I was extremely surprised and very satisfied with the way these little radios work. With each radio coming with a speaker mic, and a separate charger for each radio which makes recharging each radio a lot faster. My first test was to see how well they would work in my home. We have a 2 story home with a basement. I went into the basement and had a conversation with my daughter over the radio, and she was on the 2nd floor. The next test convinced me that I am buying the 6 piece kit. I had to fly to Mississippi to help one of my children move, and we were going to be driving 3 different vehicles, and I thought it would save on our cellphones, and all 3 of us would hear the same conversation at the same time. I thought it would be a great test to see if they would work between vehicles on the trip up. The radios worked flawlessly. We were separated a couple of miles or more due to traffic sometimes, and we never lost contact. We traveled on flat & hilly terrain, and even got into some smaller mountains. The trip took us almost 10 hours, and we never had one go down on us. The battery life was great, and the audio was crystal clear. We came upon someone else using the same channel during the trip, and with 16 pre-programmed channels available, it wasn't an issue. When we got back we had to travel another 3 hours the following day and didn't get a chance to charge any of the radios but again, they worked great. We still never lost a radio to a dead battery, and it was priceless to have them when I had to back up a trailer with a car on it inside an apartment complex parking lot. I am going to order the larger kit as I stated before. I don't know how they will work for someone traveling in the woods or on a trail but they worked great for us. The radios also come with an operators manual that is well written, and explains how to use these gems. Don't let the lower price of these radio's scare you away. They work great!

I have tested these around the neighborhood with my wife. I have been inside the house and she has been about 1/2 to 3/4 miles away. No problems - clear reception - no static. I got these so that when I am working out in the yard I can have one with me instead of lugging my phone around. I will also be using them at church. For the price they are a steal. I don't expect they will like being dropped on hard surfaces, but how much can you expect for a set of four for 40 bucks? Also used the earpiece, works great. No issues.

These are very good radios, and the charging stand is a great feature. The biggest issue is that while they use channels in the FRS frequency range, they aren't programmed to the standard FRS channels and use a fixed privacy code tied to each channel. So if you plan to use them with other radios, you'll probably want to get a CH340 USB programmer. Otherwise, looking at the preprogrammed channels (on the ones I received), it looks like the only overlap would be channel 7 on the Pxton (462.7250 MHz) mapping to CH22 w/ Privacy code 21 (PL136.5) on a Motorola (that may line up for other brands too). Attached is a screenshot of the programmer software setup to line up with Motorola channels with no privacy codes set.

These are GREAT! Charging and using these is a breeze! Me and my kids use them primarily to keep in touch when they go play with a friend up the street whose house/yard makes yelling for them to come home embarrassing and ineffective. The wrist band on each allows the kids to hang them from their bicycle handlebars while in transit. One time, when my 13 year old and I went to the store, we split up the shopping list and each went shopping. We planned this and brought 2 of the 4 devices. When I was talking to him while in the store, the other two kids heard me on the devices at home! That's over several miles away! The speak button is easy to use, even for 6 year old kids and the audio is OK as long as you talk clearly, a bit slower, and wait a bit after hitting the talk button. Battery life is fantastic and each device tells you when it needs to be charged. I only keep 2 of the chargers on the kitchen countertop and just keep 2 regularly charged for talking with kiddos when they're far away in the subdivision. These are durable and fun and functional walkie talkies. You will not regret buying them. These were a Christmas gift to my kids in 2024 and the devices are still going strong!

We live on 30 acres and these work perfectly for our children when they are out playing. They have now started doing walkie talkie tag. The battery lasts for awhile. When talking they are clear.

These work well. The charging stand is nice and makes it easy to charge. I would like to see the ear Buds have a longer cord as it is tight with a taller person with the radio clipped on your belt. Time will tell how well the batteries hold up. For the price they are hard to beat.
