Size: I ordered the XL because I tend to like a bit of room not only for comfort but also for layering. This jacket fits true to size (I'm actually a size medium to large) and I am able to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath with a bit of room to spare. Style: As I mentioned it's a casual jacket, but it's also fitted below the bust area (I'm 5.1 and short waisted if that helps) to give it a bit of shape which makes it a bit more stylish. The quilt stitching is done well and is not as bulky as most puffer style outerwear. Rambling thoughts: 1. This jacket is quite comfortable to wear and would say it's ideal for early fall and spring weather though I've worn it in freezing temps with a light sweater and was perfectly comfortable. Also have worn on rainy days and didn't have any issues though I can't swear you'll stay dry if your caught in a heavy downpour. 2. It can be packed pretty tightly in a suitcase and bounce back into shape with no harm done and nary a wrinkle to be seen. 3. I've washed it four times now (cold, regular wash) and haven't had any issues with the snaps coming off or stitching unraveling, the lining is still in place. I would suggest line drying but, in a pinch, the delicate cycle on cool probably won't hurt it. 4. All in all, this is a nice casual piece of outerwear that for the price is worth buying. ... show more

I purchased an XXL based on reviews that said it runs small. I would not say this ran small and was quite large. The sleeves are very long. I washed it and it did shrink quite a bit which helped in the sizing but the sleeves are still very long. Too bad they didn't shrink up some. Other than that, I like the jacket, it looks nice, is not too heavy but still warm enough for the mild winters here in Arizona ... show more

Love this jacket. A little shorter than i expected, but it fit quite nicely, a little long in the sleeves, but was able to roll up and looked fine. Navy Blue is really nice too. This will be great for trips and running errands. Lightweight, casual and comfortable.

I am so pleased with this purchase! I bought this coat 2 1/2 months ago and have been wearing it ever since. It is lightweight, but warm. Because it’s not bulky, I can move my arms freely! I didn’t know this was important to me, but I really appreciate it - so comfortable! :) We live in the MidAtlantic on the east coast, so our winters are mild, but this coat was warm and comfy into the low 30’s. It is well made with no weird seams or strings - everything is straight and neat. It does seem to run a bit large, so consider sizing down. I had to return one I thought would be my size. I have enjoyed wearing this with nicer outfits, like for church or dinner, that still need a warm outer layer. Great coat! ... show more

This is a perfect jacket. Very comfortable! It’s just right for a chilly day and the light quilting is great for a windy day. If you want to wear it over a sweater or sweatshirt, I suggest one size up. Also, it is lightweight enough to easily carry while shopping, etc. The dusty blue color and the jacket is perfect for casual or slightly dressy outings.
